Congratulations for finding our No Drip Water Bottle for guinea pigs & birds! Like you, we never thought that a good guinea pig water bottle would be so difficult to find. Over the years, we tried dozens of different water bottles on the market, and all of them had problems.
Most bottles drip. Even the ones that claim they don’t have a consistent 15 to 20% of reviews mentioning dripping issues. We’ve solved this problem by sourcing nozzles of the best material and highest quality and also conducting INDIVIDUAL INSPECTIONS for each nozzle to ensure a DRIP-FREE experience.
Most bottles are cumbersome to use. Snatching a bottle out of a spring cord causes tension, water spill and disturbance. Screw-on bottles take tedious screwing and unscrewing to fill up. Introducing our HOOK-&-HANG bottle. Simply hang it or take it off.
We’ve also used those popular FLIP-AND-FILL bottles. The issue with them is that they are NOT meant to be taken off, yet they have a bottom area that withholds water that cannot be drained. So the old stale water is never drained or thrown off, and it CONTAMINATES the entire bottle, promoting algae growth.
WATER BACKFLOW is another source of contamination, where dirty water from pets’ mouths flows back into the bottle due to low-quality nozzles. Our high-quality nozzle effectively prevents backflow. With each refill, just unhook the bottle, bring it to the sink to discard the old water, and refill with fresh water. This guarantees clean, fresh water without any risk of contamination.
Most bottles have a small-neck opening, making it difficult to fill or clean them. Our bottle features a WIDE OPENING that allows easy refill, easy cleaning, and convenient dispensing of vitamins and medications.
Most bottles are excessively long, with nozzles that extend far below the bottle. This makes it challenging to securely mount the bottle at an appropriate height for small pets to drink comfortably. Our bottle offers the same water volume in a COMPACT design, allowing for easy mounting at the proper height for your small pets to drink from.
In case the hook doesn’t fit: Use a combination plier or a wide-tip flat nose plier. Lift & hold the hook for 10 or more seconds to increase the space between the hook and the water bottle.

Great Product Overall – Has Several Issues – Still Recommend/Would Buy Again
PROS:No more nasty, clouded, green water! – The vertical orientation of the drinking spout prevents our guineas from contaminating the water supply even with hay/food in their mouths.No more leaky water bottles! – Contrary to what some reviews imply, there is no leakage from the drinking spout besides a few naturally occurring drips while the piggies are actively drinking.No more detach/retach for each refill! – Since this bottle doesn’t require daily cleaning or flipping it to refill, I can bring a jug of water over, unscrew the lid, and add more. (Although it can go a week with no visible issues, I still clean it every other day per best practice)No more accidents with the water bottle! – It can be installed higher than other bottles or inside the cage entirely; the choice is yours (see images).CONSIt cannot hold more water than the average bottle from the pet store, and it leaks if filled above the neck (from the threads around the lid, not the drinking spout).You may need to purchase an additional acrylic T4 panel from GuineaLoft (available on Amazon) if you have one of the original cages that looks like Swiss cheese (see images). Leaks
Was good for the first four days then their entire enclosed was soaked from it leaking. Really disappointed I paid as much as I did for it. The concept was nice, but its not worth it. The lid is very thin and cheap and the bottle is plastic. All feels like it could be crushed really easily.

Be smart
I found the product very simple to set up. As long as you read instructions you will be good:)Unfortunately we cannot use it as the nozzle is not like most guinea pig water bottles . So once we put it in for the cage we noticed our guinea pig did not drink from the water as the nozzle has a different angle and set up used. We gave it about 1 week for her to adjust to it but noticed no water was being used. Great product ! Just not the right fit for our guinea pig:)

I’ve kept guinea pig for decades and have tried SO MANY WATER BOTTLES. Many of them start off fine, but start leaking or over time due to poor mechanisms, gaskets getting chewed/degraded over time, or the pigs figuring out how to keep the water flowing as they drink (because they love to make my life difficult).This is the only one that keeps the bedding dry, and has held up to the persistent mischief of 5 pigs without missing a beat. The fact that it can be refilled without removing it from the cage is a big bonus.The bottom 1/2 inch of water is too low for the spout, so make sure it’s topped off. Easy to do because it’s clear and you can see the water level effortlessly.

Received a used scratched up product
This bottle works great, however I was sent a used bottle with scratch up acrylic. I ended up keeping it because nothing else fits in the cage and didnât want my Guinea to get dehydrated waiting for a replacement.

Drips a LOT, not for the first version of the seller’s cage, material is cheap
I love the cage, the top and even the waterproof disposable cable bottom paper, however, this bottle is a disaster, I thought because the other stuff is amazing this wouldn’t be the exception but it is. It is flimsy because it is not easy to install and it is only designed for some of their versions of the cage, not for the first one. Then, it drips more that any of the other bottles I’ve hadst all the pee, poop and pine shaving become disgusting and smelly. The because the plastic is so cheap the cap doesn’t close easily. For the price I would expect something better and considering the other products the had design this is a disappointment.

Easy to refill
I LOVE this new addition to my Guinea loft cage! I was a bit skeptical since it was new with few reviews, but after a quick installation I’ve already noticed how much of an improvement there was in terms of refilling and dripping. With my old water bottles I always had to remove the entire bottle from the cage to refill or it the lid was just impractical, but this one makes it so easy to just pour water in and screw it back on or take the bottle out of the holder– no more of those spring contraptions that I would have to squish the water bottle into. My piggies love this water bottle and I found that if you put it a bit higher it really helps with the water not dripping and being able to keep the bedding dry. Awesome!

Constantly leaks, like a drop every 10 seconds.
I love the company and I have several of their products but this water bottle is terrible, the mats are soaked because of this and now I need to wait another day to get a generic bottle that is half the price but actually works.They should remove this from Amazon and go back to the chalkboard.

This is stupidity expensive for a plastic water bottle, but I’d just installed the guinea loft perspex habitat and wanted to make the area look posh.My pigs are pretty adventurous and they tried this bottle as soon as I installed it but obviously weren’t impressed because after a few attempts they didn’t go back.I’d washed it already but gave it another wash, the jug itself is easy to wash but I think bits might get into the spout as pigs like to drink with their mouths full, so I suspect it could get clogged up.I tried different heights and put it near their food to try and interest them but they weren’t having it.It’s a shame as it’s a lovely looking bottle, but I feel it was designed more to be pleasing to humans than with the animals in mind. Guinea pigs are generally all conditioned from birth to drink from a standard spout type on their bottles. Why this company couldn’t incorporate that into their ‘jug’ design I don’t know but I think if they did they’d be on to a winner (lovely looking on the outside and user friendly to the piggies on the inside!)Normal (unposh) bottles fit just as well, even if they are cheap at least they work.
