Fun treat ball
Fun toy that keeps our dog busy throughout the day. He can roll it to get treats. He has also learned to pick it up and drop it to get more. It’s made of heavy plastic, so it’s great for chewers. The plastic is somewhat flexible so that it bounces and doesn’t break and shatter during play like some other treat balls.

Better than first impression
Our 7lb Havapoo loves this thing, and quickly figured out that it dispenses treats when she rolls it around the room, but within 2 hours she had chewed around 90% of the dispenser hole and broke off the “funnel” that restricts the treats from spilling out of the toy. Once the restrictor comes off, it will dump treats and become too “easy.”. Great toy. Hours of entertainment, but easily destroyed.Edited to add that years later, the toy is in the same shape it was in the first night. Turns out that the dog ripping the dispenser made it dispense treats less easily, and it made her work harder at it. Upgraded to 5 stars for occupying my energetic, needy dog.

This is not a chew toy, it’s a puzzle toy and cure for boredom.
This is the 3rd toy I have ordered because I like these so much. This is not a hard plastic toy like a lot of the other puzzle balls. I have hardwood floors and this material is much better for my floors and my ears.I believe every dog should have one of these. Please understand, you have to spend time playing and teaching your dog that they roll it or bounce it and not chew it to get the treats inside. If you just put the treats inside and give it to your pup, his instinct will be to chew it to get to the good stuff in the middle. When you first start out you should use small training treats and put around a 1/4 cup inside (this is easy mode). As he starts to learn that it easy and fun to roll the ball for goodness you can put fewer treats inside to make it harder or change the treat size. It’s pretty cool watching your doggie learn the different ways to get the treats out. My pup started dropping it off the coach so it would bounce and roll, getting more out of it than just rolling it around. This is great for mental stimulation and active foraging. I wouldn’t advise leaving this toy with a heavy chewer unsupervised, you will come back to little pieces of orange everywhere.

Itâs Fun but Easy to Chew Up
My Jack Russell loved this toy immediately. Heâs not a ball lover but he loved the idea of treats inside. The only issue is he tends to not roll it but chew it until one end is down so the treat will fall out. In just 10 mins of play he tore a piece of the ball off. I canât let him play with it long and I do have to constantly watch him. This toy would be absolutely perfect if the rubber was made not to tear apart. Iâm hoping for a new improved one to come out.** One Month Update. With some training my dog has done much better. If I saw him chewing on the toy, I would tell him âno chewingâ which usually made him stop. Biting the toy was allowed, but if he was caught chewing the side again then I would remove the toy. He soon learned what would make him lose his privileges. He now has learned how to properly play with it and bite and throw it but not chew a hole in it. Iâm not a dog trainer so this was just my method whether others agree with this training or not but it worked for my dog. He gets excited to play with this toy and gets more play time now.

Amazing
This is her absolute favorite toy/food puzzle now! We use it all day everyday, just put a small handful of her reg dry dog kibble in, and subtract that amount from her breakfast or dinner, and shes kickin it around for a good long while! We love our food ball!

Poorly designed. DO NOT WASH!
I got this ball just to give my dog something different besides his regular treat ball. I use Zuke’s mini natural treats because they are less than 3 calories each. They basically fall right out of this ball. Takes him about 2 minutes to get 12 treats out, unlike his other ball that takes him about10 minutes. So, while he likes it, it doesn’t keep him entertained, which is the whole purpose in this. At least it is for me.And don’t wash it! The inside will never dry. (Maybe it will, after a week or so. Just haven’t waited that long yet.) There’s no air flow. No way of drying. Plus the flap around the inside retains water when you try to shake the water out of the bottom. 3 days after washing it I thought it should finally be dry. I put treats in and gave it to my dog. He was having trouble getting the last 2 treats out. When I checked, it was no wonder. The treats were wet and mushy and were just stuck in the bottom. I’ll never buy one of these again!

Im sure this is a great toy for most dogs but if you have a chewer, it wont last. My dachshund loved it but decided to chew it up way too fast! Buyer beware but otherwise a great toy

My dogs favorite toy
I originally happened to find this ball at marshalls about 8 years ago when my roxie was only 2 months old. I have purchased 6 over the years. A large one for my big boy porkchop…several mediums for roxie. They lasted and were durable once she was out of her chewing stage but she used it so often it was just natural wear and tare from going indoors to outdoors and back indoors. I just got 2 more puppies and they love it also but chewed through the ball. My roxie is devastated so i went to order her a new one. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE PRICE! my most expensive one purchased was less than 4 dollars on amazon and now they’re 12 to 16? I will be checking marshalls and tjmaxx first as i have seen them there a bunch in the past. My last resort will be to purchase for 13 bucks on amazon. The price is 3x what it used to be. If she didnt love it so much i wpuldnt even consider it knowing i purchased 6 for the same price as 2 now

Distributes small treats very well and allows my dog to keep rolling it and picking it up until empty. Prevents boredom for the doggo and the humans.Fun to watch him play to eat and the rubber doesn’t make too much noise in a condo.Wipes clean or I soak in soapy water.

Me encantó en todos los sentidos. Mi perro no suele hacer caso a los juguetes que le compro, pero este le encantó. Se entretiene jugando con ella e intentando sacar las croquetas que le metemos dentro de la pelota. This is a very durable toy and my dog loves it. He is a forty pound (medium-sized dog) and can easily pick the ball up in his mouth to carry it around the house. It has a hole in the centre for inserting small training treats. The treats do not fall out easily, which is a bonus because it keeps my dog entertained longer. He plays with the ball even without the treats and the bright orange colour makes it perfect for fetch outdoors as it is next to impossible to lose. The plastic did have an odor when it initially arrived, but the odor quickly went away. On the positive side, the plastic makes the ball easy to clean when the treats are all gone.

With some dog puzzles I feel like once the dog understand how to get the treats out, the puzzle is less of a puzzle and more of a speed race to remove the food. With this treat ball, even once the dog or puppy knows how to remove the treats, it still requires a significant amount of time to get them out keeping your pet preoccupied for quite some time. Although the add states âmediumâ, our 9 week old puppy has nearly outgrown the size and could use a size up – the only thing I would change would be to get the larger size.
