** Update – 4 years and many boating trips later and the life jackets are still holding up and in great shape! Handles still holding strong, as well as the Velcro and buckles!**The last life jacket I will buy for my dogs! So far based on quality, feel, fit, Iâm in love with these!I bought 2 large life jackets. 1 for my GSD/Husky mix, and the 2nd for my Siberian Husky. Our mix is 57 lbs; measurements are within the range they give.Our Husky is 50lbs; measurements also within the range.They fit perfectly giving room for growth, they both appear comfortable, and they are able to run, jump, play and lay down like normal without any issues. As far as the handle goes Iâve seen reviews of the handle not seeming strong or sturdy enough. For our boys and their weights we donât have that issue. Iâm able to pick up and carry both of them with ease.The fact that the jacket is patriotic is a big plus for us and our family as we have veterans and activity military members in our family.Some things I really like and think are great features about the jacket are in one picture I shared Iâm pointing at a little strip of Velcro, that peace is so you can fold the vest up and keep it wrapped up easier to store and carry without everything dangling.The vest has reflective strips on it for lights and nighttime use.The Velcro and buckles that go around the body of the vest are super strong and secure.The left side of the vest there is a small spot in the corner for a name and phone number. I love this! In the case that we are walking on the sand bar, they are swimming around or away, if for some reason they were to get away from us or swim away from us with the jacket on there would still be a way for someone to identify them and be able to contact us.I included pictures of our boys with the jackets on, the sizes and size chart, the handle, and just some other pictures of the vest. I will update my review once we get to put the boys in the water.

Great Jacket
Ordered the x-small for my Yorkie when he was between 8-10 pounds. He doesn’t enjoy it much, but it fits well and does a good job. The handle on top is very helpful. Only complaint is that the chest strap closes funny. The flotation device is somewhat thick for a little dog and is held together by the velcro while overlapping like and X instead of perfectly on top of each other. All clasps have strong strapping and closures that are very secure.Update: had to order a size larger this summer. My Yorkie is up to 16 pounds and needed the small. He now has room to grow (let’s hope for my sake he’s as big as he’s gonna get)

American pups
I ordered two of these for our dogs for the lake and the beach. Although they can swim, it makes me more comfortable when in the middle of a lake to be able to pull them back in after a swim and ensure they will remain afloat. 30lb beagle got a medium and the 55lb boxer fits the medium except for the chest strap, so I got her a large, straps are adjustable to fit her body shape. Aside from being functional, they are super cute!

Great looking vest!
We have a fairly large dog, about 80 lbs. The vest size fit perfectly, I just followed the size chart and had no problem. He is very comfortable in it. He is a big swimmer and can swim very comfortably in it. Not sure how much support it would give him if he stopped moving 🙂 but he never does. This vest gave him the confidence to jump off the boat which he did continuously!Because of the amount of in and out of the boat we did a lot of lifting with the handle. I was concerned that the handle would come off like a couple of reviews said but the handle held for a full week of in and out and in and out of the boat. The stitching did need to be gone over again and reinforced when we got home. So if you have a heavy dog it would not be advisable to use the handle for continuous lifting.Overall I am happy with the purchase.

Safe, secure and stylish
Love love love. I have a flat coated retriever, heâs 55 lb and a large fits him well. This is a sturdy and well-designed product for dogs and their owners. It has a spot for a leash to attach by the dogâs head so no collar is needed. The best feature is the handle on the top of the back. It allows you to pull the dog out of the water without harming the dog or yourself. The only thing to watch out for is the heat, we noticed the vest made the dog pretty warm on a summer day. Know your dog and give him a break from it if you notice he is panting heavily.

Very comfortable
Bought one of these for each of our dogs! Larges for both. Lab is around 70lbs and American Bulldog around 83lbs. Fits both great! Neither seem to mind wearing them. Shocked at how comfortable both of them seem in them. Too cold to swim yet but I think we will love them! Looks super cute, well made, and comfortable! Anxious to see how they do in the water!

I bought 2 different jackets for two puppies. This one was a little less expensive. It is thinner so might be a little more comfortable to wear. I ordered a medium for our dog that is about 42 pounds. it fit her well. The only complaint is that the first time we used it we had a leash attached to the ring on the jacket and the ring pulled out right away. Our pup is not overly aggressive and so i was surprised that it didn’t hold. i would hate for a dog that runs away easily or jumps in the water when you don’t wish for it to do so to wear the jacket and have this break on someone else. It was not an expensive jacket so it is what it is.

Great fit!
Won’t be able to test it out in the water until July but it fits great for the most part. My pup is a dachshund mix so things never 100% fit. The neck part is a little large but the body part fits great! The part that wraps around his body is Velcro and has buckles so it is rly adjustable. He weighs 25lbs and I bought a medium.
