These actually stay on, the entire 5-mile snowy hike!
These dog shoes are incredible. They actually stayed put on my Golden Retriever for the entire 5-mile hike. I did a little test and had him only wear them on his back legs for our first walk, and left his front pads uncovered. Within 1 mile, he was already stopping and trying to pull the little snowpellets out from between his paw pads and getting frustrated with the discomfort. Never once did the back shoes fall off, come loose, or cause him a distraction. Our next hike, I put them on all four paws, and while they slid down a ltitle on his front legs, they never once came off and he was joyfully running without discomfort the entire 5-mile hike. I have never come across such a great pair that my dog actually tolerated wearing for an hour plus at a time. The little traction on the bottom of the booties also came in handy going across the lake and the slippery parking lot. Great choice and purchase!

Hefty well-made, just wish my doggo liked them
We got the #5 based on the sizing chart. It was still big for our pooch’s foot, a twenty-something-pound dog. Our doodle was not interested in these. Apparently, she’d prefer sliding around on the hardwoods, lol.That said, these are constructed well and look to be made of quality materials. The bottom features a wide, securely adhered, solid rubber base with traction bumps and a patterned design. It would be great outdoors, but it feels overkill for wood floors. However, I don’t know for certain, as this is our first attempt at putting footies on our pooch. I feel like if these were kid shoes, they’d be boots when we’re just looking for socks with grips. I’ll look for a lighter-weight one and see if that works. :DThereâs no major con here. My only caution is that the foot pad area seems very wide, at least for our pooch. Adding a strap at the top of the rubber piece to cinch it for a snugger fit around the dogâs foot pad would, I think, be a great improvement, given the variety of wearers.Recommended for outdoor and wide-foot pad doggos.

Cute dog booties!
These dog booties are super cute! I know, but are they functional …. I think they will be. My 64 lb lab mix is not a fan of her feet being messed with so this is a slow go to get them all on at the same time. I’m sure you’ve seen the videos of dogs walking in booties – so … this is going to be a work in progress that I hope to master before it snows.The boots are very well made. Where the foot pad goes is rubber on the outside bottom with a pleather top about 1″ up and goes over a waterproof material then up to a sock type material -with a zipper to open for easier on & off. There are 2 velcro fasteners that cover the upper top of the bootie. These boots are staying on once they get on. They are very well constructed and sewn together nicely. I expect they will wear well & last through at least 1 winter if not longer.

Finally shoes that I can keep on my dog
The work well for my Dutch Spaniel, she is a very active 22 pound dog. The first day I used them, I only put on the back boots and had her walk around the house with me for half hour, gave her lots of treats. Second day we did the same,, but with the front paws, Third day all feet and inside. 4th day outside with just the front boots, 5 day back boots, 6th day both boots. Now all I have to say is “boots on”, she will sit in my lap and we will get all 4 boots on in about a minute. She does prefer to go barefoot, but will tolerate these.

Nice dog boots
These are nice dog boots. They are decent quality and seem more durable than I expected. The bottoms have a nice, relatively thick rubber sole with traction, so they are great for dogs in the winter months. There is double velcro around the ankles so you can adjust the size and make them tighter or looser, and the double straps help them stay on even better. I choose these over other comparable dog boots because I like that they come up a bit higher on your dog’s legs so they’re not as easy for your dog to shake off as short boots are. Only taking off one star because they seem a little bit expensive ($23.99 at time of review) for what they are. Overall, would still recommend though.

Three sizes too largeâ¦
I went off their sizing and itâs not accurate sizing.. I got a 7 for my wemer and itâs literally like 3 sizes bigger than needed. Not worth the hassle of trying to figure out what size and send back etcâ¦.

The sizing is really off. I made sure to check and measure my service dogâs paws, and I think these boots may just be made for dogs with bulkier paws. I have a standard poodle service dog and though she has big paws, her feet are still rather slender; there isnât much âmeatâ to them. These boots would probably be wonderful for dogs that tend to have meatier paws, like golden retrievers or huskies. The styling is super cute too, and I wish they fit her, because these would be so perfect if they did! They have a zipper to help with fit at the cuff as well as a double Velcro fastener. Iâm only giving three stars though because of how tall and bulky the boots are.

Nice dog shoes
These dog shoes are nice. They seem like th egg would be comfortable. I measured my dogs paws and got the size recommended but they are too big for my dog. Next time I would probably go down in size. But the product itself is well made. I had no issues putting them on my dog. I just wish they fit.
