We got this to groom our standard poodle and adding this brush into the routine has made brushing his fur so much easier. Itâs incredibly sturdy, but not super heavy so itâs not painful to hold (despite being weirdly shaped metal). Our dogs hair is so much softer using this on him ever few days. Perfect for brushing my Samoyed!
It works well, helps access my samoyedâs under coat and comb it out. The only downside is after four or so brushing, it got stuck in one of his mats and a piece of the comb came offð my dogâs coat is stronger than this comb. But for the most part itâs sturdy

Great for poodles
I use this in my poodle, and it works great! It was recommended I use this instead of a brush and it gets down to the skin. Iâve used it on his whole body, but mainly top knot, ears, tail and bracelets. I use both sides every time. The wider tooth at first to get through the hair, then the smaller to pull any tiny knots that may be starting. I definitely recommend this for poodles and most dogs.
