So convenient and easy to use!
I was looking for a treat pouch that also allowed me to easily dispense treats for when I take my dog on walks. Other treat pouches I’ve used in the past were great for holding treats, but made it difficult to easily grab a treat without having to unzip or unlatch them. The Springer dog treat pouch is just what I was looking for! It works great with my dog’s favorite treat, which are about 1/4 in. to 3/8 in. rounds, without the treats falling out. I don’t store a ton of treats in the pouch, but it seems like I’d easily be able to store at least 50 of his treats in it. I also love that this pouch is made out of silicone, so that I can easily wash it in the sink; other treat pouches I’ve used were made out of material which meant I’d have to toss it in the washer and dryer to clean them, so I’d line them with sandwich bags to avoid having to wash them. My only issue with this pouch is the size of the opening, I do wish it was a little less long, so that only one treat gets dispensed at a time. However, I’d imagine that doing so would make it difficult to load treats into the pouch. It’s not a major issue for me though because I can easily pop the excess treats back into the pouch in cases where it has dispensed more than one.

Not for large size treats
I wanted another treat pouch to keep in the car because it always seems like I’m forgetting my main treat pouch at home when I take my dogs someplace in the car. I thought with the carabiner that this would be perfect. I was surprised by the bottom of the pouch, where you put the treats in, and take them out. The two rubber edges of the opening do not meet so there is a gap there all the time. I was worried that the treats would fall out of the pouch, since the opening is on the bottom of the pouch. So far, this hasn’t happened. I put my usual treats inside the pouch, but I could only get a few in, as the pouch isn’t that big. (I usually break my treats into smaller pieces when I give them to my dogs). This pouch seems to be designed more for the smaller treats, which had me really concerned about them popping out of the pouch (but as I mentioned, it hasn’t happened yet). Maybe they will fall out if the pouch is accidentally squeezed while you’re walking or trying to dispense treats.

Treats and treat debris falls out during our walks.
I have lost more treats from this thing than I did putting them in my jacket pocket. Try to find the capsule type that clips on to your dogâs leash.

Great for training
This is a great travel pouch for dog treats. It clips onto the leash easily but limits your dogâs access to the treats. Itâs great for leash training and enforcing hood habits. Itâs silicone and very easy to fill. I also love the size, not too large but holds an amazing amount of treats. Excellent.

Good for some treats
I usually carry a silicone treat pouch inside my belt bag but I wanted something that I could access more easily when hiking or walking in busy areas. I like the overall idea of this pouch; how it can attach to pretty much anything and dispense treats quickly and easily. However, I feed my dog freeze-dried food when we are out and I found the pouch difficult to work with using that. The food is on the larger size so I really had to squeeze open the pouch to get pieces to fall out, and when I did that more food came out than I wanted. I also found that a lot of crumbs from the food fell from the opening in the pouch making a mess. I can see where this pouch would work well for biscuits or training style treats.

Easy to Use and Refill
This little pouch is a game changer. My dog knows that I keep treats in the side pocket of my wheelchair. They are normally in a zipper baggie. He has gotten to the point that he can easily stick his head in the pocket and grab the bag, and get the treats out before I can get them from him. This treat holder is able to be hung on my wheelchair arm on the inside so he cannot get to it. It is also so much more substantial than my baggie and is easier for me to access the treats. It has made the whole treating process more effective. You need one of these!
