Let me start by saying that all my cats freaking love this! We have had a number of wands, and this is by FAR the favorite. Something about it seems to really accurately mimic an injured bird. Even my shy girl can’t resist it!However, when one of the kittens caught the lure, I didn’t take it away quickly enough.He managed to get the silicone cover (where you can swich out lures)off and was trying to swallow it.This isn’t meant to say, ‘Oh, it’s a bad toy’. We love it, and the cats love it. Just… keep an eye on things, and put it out of reach when you’re done.

Better if replacement for attachments are sold
My cats love this toy, especially because of the ball they can gnaw on. One of the tassel came off easily on first day playing with it. Too bad replacement parts for the attachment pieces aren’t sold so it forces you to buy the whole retractable wand again.

Good idea for lazy cat parents
I was looking for a retractable string toy , I was a bit too lazy because I wanted the handle longer so I could sit back and play. The handle was too short & wanted it to fling longer like a fishing rod. Dissatisfied good idea but didnât follow through.

Horrible & The Toy Scared ALL my Cats
This broke as soon as I started to play with my cats. And my cats were afraid of the popping noise it makes when it extends or when you push it back it. Also you have to physically pull the string out. I thought you pushed a button to release the string but that’s only for bringing it back in and it made a loud noise which scared all my cats. I strongly do NOT recommend. I had to trash it as soon as it broke as it wouldn’t come back out and then the string got lost inside and I couldn’t grab it back. Just complete junk. I recommend buying something else for your furbaby!

Feline Fun
This is a fun little doohickey for your cat, but the retractable wand aspect of it is probably unnecessary unless you need something compact that you can stuff in a purse or travel bag… then it’s kinda brilliant. It seems somewhat unique in that the cat can grab at the teaser ball and pull it for a few feet and it’s easily retractable.
