Great Recovery Pen Post Surgery!!
We ordered the pen with the top and bottom covers for our big dog had TPLO surgery (torn ACL) and has to be crated for the next several weeks. We wanted a crate that had a large front opening so he can get in and out with his cone but also additional access for us to pick him up if need be.. Apparently, this is a near impossible request.We were a bit hesitant about getting this but SO glad we did! It’s big enough for him to lay down comfortably and stretch out his leg; We’ve been able to sit with him and keep him calm when he’s uncomfortable. The open top was a life saver when we first got him home because there was NO way he was going through the front zipper! The zipper is wide enough for him to get in and out even with the cone on.The ONLY reason I gave it a 4 is the seam stitching by the zipper tore when we first zipped it up so it’s a bit frayed but the rest seems to still be holding up pretty good. Also, the material isn’t water proof – I was kind of hoping that since this was for puppies the material would keep liquids (ie. urine) from seeping to the floor.. Not a HUGE deal (and it’s my fault) but it is something to think about.

Cute but Functionally Wonderful
This toileting pad is excellent! The design on the front side makes sure that everyone knows what it’s used for (no “mistaking” it for the bathroom mat or a doormat in my household)! The rubber dots on the back side grip to the floor of the kennel so it doesn’t get scooted all over creation. It has so far withstood the savage attacks by the 2-pound puppies who see it as pee pad and chew toy in one, and I like that it is easy to just throw in the wash and hang up to dry. Disposable pads are seen by the tiny terrors as enemies that must be destroyed, so finding reusable pads was wonderful!

Don’t underestimate your small dog 🙂
I work from home and need somewhere for my small Chihuahua puppy to play while also being contained during the day. Obviously I don’t want to crate her, but at 3 months, she’s not fully potty trained either. This playpen had been working pretty well, but silly me thought a 3lb puppy wouldn’t figure out how to jump over the edge. Oh how wrong I was. After about a month, she has learned to climb out on her own and I wish I had shelled out the extra money for the version with the cover. Of course, knowing her, she’d have figured out how to break free from that too.

Essential Protection for Puppy Parents!
I ordered this to place under my puppy’s bed as a precaution against any accidents, and it has been fantastic at keeping my floors safe from spills. Even when it gets wet, thereâs no leaking through, which has been a lifesaver for my floors and carpets. Overall, it gets the job done and looks great too!
