variety of tools for cat and dog
This set offers grooming tools that fit cats and dogs. Some of the tools are more specific to a cat, some to a dog. I gave four stars as my cats have other grooming tools they prefer but this is a great, affordable set. The favorite in this set, between a short hair cat and long hair cat is the brush that had a button you can push to push the hair off of the brush. This makes it so much easier to remove hair from the brush. The comb has wide teeth so that is maybe a better tool for dogs. I could see how the small comb might help with ticks, other than that, I do not know what other item could be used for tick removal. The nail clippers work well for cats.

Perfect for indoor and outdoor cats
I have long haired cats that go outside. This pet grooming kit works well for combing the kitties to look for ticks . The brush works well to comb out their hair. The nail scissors are sharp, easy to hold and have a wide opening so I can even trim my larger dogs nails. I also use the combs and brush on my shih tzu dogs. The dogs love being combed and brushed. Good quality durable dog grooming tools.

Great Brush and Combs | Clippers to Be Desired
Everything about this kit is amazing, minus the scissor/clippers. They were a bit cheap and don’t work well – but everything else does! I have a 45lb F1 goldendoodle with wavy/curly hair and the brushes and combs are enough to tackle anything – including mats. I am really plased with this and they have held up incredibly well.

Good, Affordable Cat and Dog Grooming Set
This 4-piece cat and dog grooming set was priced reasonably. The set includes a stainless-steel double hole nail clipper, a round hairbrush, a stainless-steel needle comb, and a fine-tooth comb with stainless steel teeth. All of the items are sturdy and are working well to keep my dog and cats looking their best.

Adequate set -more for a cat
I ordered the CLAYCLAY Pet grooming kit mainly because of the tick removal tool, but there was none. The tool that may have been advertised as the tick removal tool is really a flea comb. The scissors, I think, are more nail trimmers for cats and kittens but not for dogs. Brush and comb are basic, although the brush does have a push button to release the fur easier. Each tool came individually wrapped in a cellophane bag and then placed in a larger cellophane bag. Product is made in China.

Quality issues
The metal comb has large spaces between the tines so is definitely for a dog.The scissors have small holes for nails to go through that woul be for a cat or maybe a tiny dog.The flea comb is small and I would say would work best on a cat or thin coated dog.The larger gray brush came damaged or poorly constructed. There are missing tines in the center and some that are bent and do not go through their holes on the sides (which makes the brush work poorly when you try to use the push button feature to push off the hair). The tines are closes together and will not go through a thick coat.The pieces are too much of a mishmash to really be a solid option, in my opinion.

Four piece basic set of pet grooming tools
CLAYCLAY Pet Grooming Set includes four useful tools for cats or dogs. There is a large 7.5â stainless steel comb which is my basic grooming tool. It has rounded teeth to protect a petâs skin. The small fine comb has 2â long close set teeth that I find handy to remove small pieces of food or grit from around my dogsâ faces.The self-cleaning brush is a good tool for long haired pets since it is easy to just eject the hair directly into a waste bin while grooming. The nail clippers are the most interesting tool for me since they have two small holes in the blade for a petâs claw. The holes are small and only the tips of the claws fit into them. This is a good safeguard for anyone who is nervous about trimming too much of the nail. I used it on my 3.5 pound Maltese dog and it works well.This is a good basic grooming tool set that is well designed and seems durable. It works for either cats or dogs.
