Slow Down and Enjoy Her Meal!
We tried this slow feeder to slow down our dog during mealtimes. She very food driven and eats way too fast! This feeder took care of the problem. She seems more satisfied after eating now and she is happier, too!

Type of food matters
I gave the Evenco Slow Feeder Bowl a 4 only because it’s “effectiveness” as a slow feeder depends upon how well the type of food you feed sits in the grooves of the feeder. Our fur baby eats moistened freeze-dried nuggets that don’t quite fit directly into the grooves but it still helped slow the eating rate better than a smooth bowl. It is also not bulky bowl (like the usual slow feeder that we have been using) and portable for traveling. I t also has a suction cup base that is helpful in keeping the bowl in place and not sliding around the floor.

Just what Iâve been looking for!!
My cat is soooo good driven and eats wayyy too fast! She is wet food only, so Iâve been looking for something that is compatible with that while also having 1. Soft silicone that wonât scratch / be too rough on her tongue 2. Has a suction bottom. 3. Is shallow enough to reduce whisker fatigue but deep enough to actually slow her down 4. Not too big 5. Has raised edges so I can put water in her food without it spilling over 6. Can also sit on top of her feeding stand that helps prevent neck strain and aids better digestion and this is the perfect feeder!!!The silicone is soft, but strong so it holds it shape well. Itâs super easy to wash, and it exactly what I was looking for! Also, the price is amazing for the quality. The only thing I would change / add to the overall design of this slow feeder is selling it with a stand! Luckily I have one from another purchase, but another contributor to why cats who eats fast regurgitate their food is because of the neck strain from bending done to eat. Other than that, I love it and would recommend to anyone who is dealing with a cat eating too fast!!!

Works for our Boxer
We have a Boxer that looks for any way to turn her food bowl over in her crate. This dish seems to resist her efforts so far.
