Medium firm topper.
This is great. I slept like a hibernating bear the very first night. Iâm a hot sleeper but I didnât feel any more hot with this on the bed than I did without it. It is the correct size for my bed. Fits the mattress all around. Took about 6 hours to fully expand. I had a fan in the room and by the time I went to bed I detected no odor. I had a previous topper that completely collapsed as soon as I laid on it providing absolutely no support. I would say that this is medium firm. Soft enough for comfort and pressure relief but not so soft that you sink all the way into it. Iâm able to move around without any problem. I could probably have been fine if Iâd bought the 2â Iâve had it for a few days now and I love it. I have a good mattress that is only a year old but this has really upped the comfort level for these 70 year old bones. I waited till Iâd slept on it for a few days before writing my review. I recommend this if you need a softer mattress.

First, let me tell you that I’m 5’4” and 116 lbs as a point of reference. I think all reviews should include the general size of the person, as it may make or break.I mostly love this topper. I turned my mattress and the “new” area was HARD. It was difficult to sleep on my sides because it was so painful to my hips, and I was stiff and sore all day every day. I knew I had to do something quickly, so I chose this topper after looking around at several on here.I’m glad that I did. It’s really quite thick. It has enough firmness and loft that my hips don’t go all the way down to the mattress when I’m on my side. That’s a great thing! When on my back, I don’t feel the mattress underneath me either. I still have the support of the firm mattress, of course, but I only feel the cushion of the topper.As for “cooling gel” … I don’t feel any when I squeeze the purple swirls. I imagine that it’s in there if it says it is, but I don’t feel anything at all that seems cool to my fingers. It does retain a fair amount of heat for me. I’ve awakened sweaty a couple of times. I don’t think there really is any such thing as cool memory foam though. It does have a lot of little holes throughout it as pictured, and maybe that helps with heat dispersion or something; I don’t know. It’s hot enough for me to remove at least one star.There was VERY little odor right out of the wrap. The little bit that I did smell was gone in 24 hours. I only let it lay out for four or five hours before putting it on my bed, and it had already expanded pretty well. That was promising, and the immediate thickness and feeling of durability did not disappoint.Unless you really “sleep hot,” I think you’ll love this. It’s not horribly hot for me, but I definitely notice that I’m hotter with it than without it. It definitely doesn’t make me cooler than without it because of the supposed gel. Don’t expect to feel refreshed from any sort of coolness when you lie down. It’s not that type of cooling product.I do highly recommend aside from that. I can probably deal with the measure of extra heat because it’s really saved my bony hips and stiff back. I can’t speak to whether or not a heavier person would sink all the way through it to the mattress below, but it’s plenty thick and sturdy enough for me. Very much worth the money.

Helps with pain
I bought a firm mattress (a little too firm) so it hurt my joints especially laying on my side or back. I purchased the 2â queen topper and let it inflate for 24 hours. Its a solid piece of foam and it felt kind of on the firmer side as well so was worried. But I slept on it last night and it did help with my aches and pains. I didnt want something super soft but to support my joints when sleeping. I woke up a little less achy today so im going to give credit to the topper for helping. 2â seems plenty sufficient for my needs. No smell. Doesnt seem to slide either. Happy with purchase.

Like being hugged by a marshmallow!
Iâve been having back, rib, shoulder, and hip pain for several weeks now. I broke and bought a topper (which so happened to be on said) cause itâs cheaper than a new mattress right now. Let me say it was such a fantastic choice. It feels like Iâm being hugged by a marshmallow. Itâs the nice memory foam that is soft and hugs you just right but firm enough that you donât sink too far into it. 10/10 would recommend. Now to see how long it lasts me, my husband, 2 cats, and a dog.

I love my sleep quality that I have with this mattress pad on my bed. My hips donât hurt my back donât hurt and the support is amazing. I wish I wouldâve got this a long time ago and it is so breathable. I donât sleep hot like I used to cause baby when I tell you menopause is no joke. Not long enough
I ordered this topper in a queen size. Itâs super comfortable and the right width however it is too short lengthwise. My pillow falls into the gap between the topper and the mattress while I sleep.

Pregnant & back hurting
Best purchase Iâve done, between having this and the body pillow combo, omg I am sleeping so good during my pregnancy!! Sometimes I can lay without tummy support from the body pillow, and we donât get hot! Definitely recommend, body just get contoured, and my boyfriend tossing and turning has been reduced plus he doesnât feel when I get up in the middle of the night serval times
