This perch was such a great buy for us. The cats love it. It really can hold at least 40lbs! Sturdy and my cats trust it. These are BY FAR the best window seats! Iâve own many different kinds of window seats, this one is my favorite, and my fur babies would agree. The window seat is easy to assemble and very sturdy! I have no worries about the seats not holding my chonks. You can tell my cats both feel safe when they are on their window seat. I have ended up over time getting three of these for different windows around our home. And both of my fur babies love each one! I highly recommend this window seat to anyone looking to purchase one!

Best Ever!
So I just moved to a house where the windowsills are very tiny and my cats fall off. I bought 2 at first for the living room and they LOVE them, so I bought 2 more for my upstairs bedroom, they love them. I’m buying 2 more for the guestroom.These are truly wonderful. They’re SO EASY to install, no screws necessary if you don’t want (they come with them), and I didn’t want lol – I used the Velcro strips they come with, the rails snap right into place wherever you need them to be and viola! Such an easy install, made very well, cats love them, does the trick, absolutely perfect!

Great cat shelf but arrived with defective hardware
So, I ordered this shelf a while ago and ADHD kicked in so here I am half a year later setting it up.Pros:-Easy to follow instructions-Easy to click in the legs, but feels sturdy-Love that there’s a non-permanent set-up option as I am a renter-Soft plush cover, cute design-Soft memory foam pad linerCons-“Hardware” i.e. the hook-and-loop (Velcro) strips were kind of messed up upon arrival. One of them had apparently plaster/wall paint on it (wtf), and the other had been stuck together with the backing in the wrong direction, meaning, no sticky residue on one of the sides of the strips (see pics). I think I may have gotten this open box (“like new” lol) so maybe someone recycled the hook and loops. Whatever…So, given the above con, I didn’t want to take the risk using one and a half Velcro strips, especially given that my cats are of the big-boned (chonky) variety. Sooo, I frankensteined the sticky part as much as I could with some heavy duty Velcro command strips I had on hand, as well as double sided glue tape tacky (comes in a roll, $11, also from Amazon). I absolutely covered the back of this thing with Velcro and glue tape and I’m currently weighing it down w some 5lb weights letting it adhere. The good news is it feels very sturdy, and it’s laying nice and flush against the wall. We’ll see, I’m going to give it 24 hrs before I let one of the chonkers up there, but I’ll update this if it stands up well to 17lbs of chaotic cat.UPDATE: Hello! So the shelf has been up for a little over a week now and our thicc boy loves it. My Frankensteined glue tape/Velcro strip mess seems to have done the trick. I definitely recommended this window bed, but I also highly suggest augmenting with additional sticky strips if you’re going the non-permanent installation route.

Nothing to dislike she loves it and doesn’t come off it she can look out the window bird watch it’s super sturdy it has a great look especially easy to assemble I suggest using the screws to fasten it to the window sile it’s super safe no missing parts the performance is excellent but she does not like the heated pad, sitting in the sun in summer makes it plenty warm she is a larger cat and it is the perfect size and no crappy suction cups that don’t stick I just bought a second one.

plastic breaks after repeated use
I have purchased three of these over the past two years. I have had the same issue with both. I have a Ragdoll cat weighs about 20 lbs, he jumps from the cat tree to the window perch and after a couple months the plastic breaks where the bracket attaches to plastic frame. Also, the Velcro attachment to the windowsill is insufficient for a larger cat and needs to be replaced regularly. My cat loves the seat and i have not found any other perch that fits the window frame or that does not break. I had a carpenter build me one that works great but cost me $$$. Within seconds of installing this windowsill bed for my cat, she is enjoying this added space of relaxation without hesitation. ðððð from my cat. Highly recommended. I used the adhesive option. Installing is quick. Too soon to comment on sturdiness but I do have a sofa backing up to this bed, giving extra support. One spoilt cat.

She spends on average a couple hours here every day. It was quite easy to install with the screw provided and very stable. Looks good and most importantly appears to be comfortable for my cat. Would buy again I think!

My cat loves to sit on our tiny bathroom window sill so I bought it for comfort. This was bigger than I expected and as firm as I wanted. It’s great if you nail it down. She spent all afternoon the first day and since then she’s been chilling on it every chance despite the winter! She can do her stretches and roll around with plenty of space (she’s small/medium size still, so bigger cats might not have space to roll around but will have plenty to nap by the window). It’s installed above slippery bathroom surfaces like the bathtub edges so nailing it down was essential so it doesn’t fall off due to the weight she’ll push on it while jumping off the second she spots a bug in the room. Only had it for about a week but so far so good.
