Nice Playpen tricky assembly
This playpen is for our Jack Russell Terrier puppy. It has several nice features:1. Light weight2. Sturdy – well built3. Zippers are heavy duty4. Zipper top and side window5. Velcro patches to hold side door and top in open position.6. 26′ height with top material borders which prevents the dog from jumping out when the top is openI would have rated this 5 stars if the installation instructions were more detailed. The frame is very easy to assemble but getting the fabric screen over the frame is tricky. The seams need to be carefully lined up with the hexagonal vertical posts (see photo) because the fit is very tight. I ended up using needle nose pliers to put the fabric up and over the top in order to zip it. Once zipped, the unit works great, and our puppy has plenty of room.I am very satisfied with it.

Good concept but needs improvement
I got this for my geriatric cats as one is incontinent and needs to be contained. I like how big this playpen is. There’s plenty of room for my cat, his bed, his food and water, and layers of pee pads. I also like how there is a door on top and on the side.Unfortunately, there are more negatives than positives. To start, the directions for steps 4 through 6 are very confusing. I took a picture of them. The framework is easy to assemble but getting the framework inside the playpen is very difficult. It has to be lined up exactly to get it done. I will never take this apart because I doubt I could get it reassembled without something breaking.Another big problem is the door in the side of the playpen. It is made of brittle, stiff vinyl that does not roll up well at all. This is a problem because you have to roll it tightly to get to the velcro piece to fasten it to the top to hold it open. I finally gave up and zipped it back up.The door on the top of the playpen is netting and that does roll up tightly and can be fastened to the velcro to keep it open. The other negative that didn’t occur to me until I was assembling it is the octagon shape. All the pee pads are rectangular or square. The only way to keep my cat dry is to overlap the pads but then they get flipped around when he walks around inside. I have to use multiple layers to try and keep my cat and the floor dry.I do like how sturdy this seems. The fabric didn’t rip and aside from the plastic door it seems like it will last. I gave it 2 stars for that and the size but I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone with incontinent animals or that wants a playpen they can disassemble when they’re not using it.

A must have!!!!!!
I got this for my kitten. We needed him to have an enclosed place to sleep without him coming and meowing by our door at night. This is perfect because it has a zipper so itâs closed and is very sturdy. Pay attention to the length of the poles as the first time I tried to build it I didnât lol

Not easy to put up and down.
I wish this was easier to assemble. It takes 2 people to get it put together so there is no easy up and down l, basically it stays up all the time and takes up space when it isn’t being used. It is also very light weight. I got it for my cat to enjoy while we are camping but it’s too big to put in the camper at night and I’m afraid it will hlget blown all over the camp ground. Could use some tie down stakes for outdoor use. Now what I do like about it is how it unzips on the top as well as the side so I can control my cat easier and she can’t just run off if I unzip the door.

Quick set up and sturdy
This playpen is a quick put-it-together; about 15 minutes and instructions are clear and concise. It feels pretty steady once assembled with an open or closed top and a see through door that can be rolled up or down and zippered. Iâm using this for my two mini schnauzers, ages three and four so chewing on inappropriate things is not a concern for me. One weighs 14 pounds and the other weighs 23 pounds to give you an idea about adequate space. Itâs a great size for them, and the panels are see through mesh. They are both rescue babies and one has major separation anxiety, and the other somewhat. When I have company over, I place them in a spare bedroom with baby-gated door. This keeps them from the company, but I can hear them whine, and they canât see me. I had so much anxiety over this, as I didnât want to perpetuate their separation anxiety. This playpen will solve this concern for everyone. After putting it together, we just ignored its presence all day as they looked at it, smelled it but never went in it. At bedtime, I threw some tasty treats in it and told them to go to bed (command for bedtime) but while pointing at the playpen and motioning what I wanted them to do; they stalled. With a little nudge, each one stepped in it, ate the treats and came right back out, as I left the door completely open. Then we went to bed. Iâll do the same thing tomorrow, and the next day, etc while they get used to it. Iâll throw some toys and treats in there periodically through the day and let them go in and out as they please. As they process getting accustomed to it, it will be a great alternative to being out of sight when company comes and also being appropriate to company (work in progress). It doesnât take up a lot of room, and I have a place to keep it and take it out when itâs needed, and we will all have less anxiety when we have visitors; win-win!

Perfect Playpen for My Animals â Sturdy
This Hexagonal Dog Playpen is a really great product! It provides plenty of space for my dog to play and move around comfortably. The Oxford cloth is durable and tear-resistant, which is a big plus, especially since my dog loves to play rough. The playpen is easy to set up and take down, and itâs lightweight enough to move around the yard or even use indoors. I like how sturdy it is even when my dog jumps up on the sidewall it doesn’t get knocked over. I have also used it for a baby chick pen and have been super impressed with how easy it is to clean. Highly recommend this playpen
