Definitely worth the buy
My cat loves this toy! Out of all string toys this one winds my cat up the most and gives hours of play. A few things to not is that this toy has a wire instead of string and a plastic butterfly. Together this gives a nice bounce and easily imitates a butterfly fluttering. The cat adores it and gets so excited when I pick this toy up. I should not that this toy is disposable and will not last. My cat recieved one as a gift and it made it through about twoo weeks of play before all that was left was the boddy of the butterfly and I soon purchased 3 more since the price is so reasonable. Do not expect this to last but its designed like this on purpose and for good reasons because the kitty loves it

My Cat LOVES This Toy
My cat absolutely loves this toy! She shuns any plush or catnip stuffed plush toy. She meows at me to play with her a few times a day with this butterfly. – This is an interactive toy and you must be willing to play with your cat to use it. – As an indoor cat this gives her the experience of “hunting” and chasing insects or butterflies as she would outdoors and causes her to leap, turn, jump, run as a cat ought to. I recommend purchasing a few to keep on hand as eventually they are tattered in the pursuit and ensnarement! – When the butterfly came off the first one I tied it back on with dental floss, so even one can last a great while if you’re up for home innovative repairs. – Once the butterfly fell into pieces and tatters now she plays with the left over dental flops tangled around the body pice of the butterfly. She sees this as an insect I suppose. At any rate she loves it… Even more than her new butterfly (I keep back stock! Lol!) – Be sure to play with this by swinging out or across well keeping your elbow bent. Do not swing this out as if you were casting a fishing line! You can tear a rotator cuff doing that suddenly and unexpectedly really causing painful injury.

I buy this for the handle
This is the most comfortable handle Iâve found for these teaser cat toys. I have two of these. Iâve removed the wire and butterfly, as I donât think the wire is safe and the cats donât like it anyway. I knot the end of an old shoe lace and tie the other end to this wand and voila, the perfect cat teaser. Comfortable in my hand for long play sessions and sturdy enough to hold up to the cats chasing and pouncing on the string. Have used with five different cats, and they all love/loved it.

my cat LOVES this toy. she goes crazy chasing it, lunging towards it, smacking it. she has so much fun. I initially thought this was a butterfly toy that had feathers but itâs not, itâs like plastic. I do worry she will hurt herself on the butterfly or the wire but thatâs prob be me being a cautious cat mom.Butterfly isnât the most durable material. Sheâs already bent it. I like that I can move the wand in a way that it sounds like itâs flapping its wings though.Iâll probably have to buy more since she loves it. Unless I can be sent more for being a loyal customer 😉 haha just kidding. but yeah get this toy. you wonât regret it!!

Literally broke in 20 seconds, with no cat help.
I had high hopes for this toy. And it looked good in person. But… fluttering it along, the wings immediately came off. Basically how this is built is, the wire (which is a great idea for the twitchy movements cats like) is fed into the body, which has two prongs. It wraps around the second one. That part of the body also has the antenna. Then the plastic wings go onto the prongs also; they are a single unit with two holes for those prongs. And then another side of the body (which isn’t nearly as intricate) goes onto the prongs.But it came off. Instantly. And the parts seem very resistant to glue, so it’s not easily fixed.I don’t know if mine was more defective than average, but the cats never got a chance to get interested.For the price, not too upsetting, but not worth even a penny given how fast it broke.

Our cat is OBSESSED, but it’s short-lived
She absolutely loves this toy, drags it around the house, sleeps on it, and goes bananas playing with it. The biggest downside is that we just went through our second one within a few days: she pulls off the wings and then goes to town on the plastic body, which cracked into a few pieces and poses a safety hazard. It also came in a ginormous box, which we were not thrilled with. I’ll keep getting her more because she loves it so much, but it’s a bummer to have to keep a close eye on it and deal with all of the packaging waste.

Cats go crazy for this toy
My cats love this toy! I have bought several of these butterfly wands. I do prefer the original feathery fabric that in my mind looked a lot more like a butterfly and seemed to have the right texture.I have received one that had a fully plastic butterfly which my kitties didnât want to grab or chew as much. I understand the switch though as my kitties would destroy the fabric kind the first time playing. We got pretty good at reconstructing the butterflies with the shredded parts to try and extend the life of the toy.Overall itâs cute and has good movement and my kitties love it, itâs it totally worth it to me. ð»

Our cats have killed half a dozen of these at least. One refuses to play with any other toy! (She is also the most prone to destroying them – her favourite thing to do is pin the butterfly down and rip its wings off, after which she will refuse to play with it any more. Suffice it to say, she is an indoor only cat for the good of the local wildlife.)

This id my cat’s favourite toy, hands down. It only lasts a few months because my cat likes to bite thr butterfly, but it’s well worth it! No suction because it doesn’t have a suction cup, and it’s decently sturdy: i haven’t had one break aside from my cat’s biting.

My cats all time favourite toy. Literally, no other toy has been as stimulating and kept his attention as long. Problem is the butterfly will break off after a few play times.
