Nice size cleans easily
This mat is a nice thickness and really durable. It fits perfect under my dogs fountain and the raised edges keep quite a bit of water from getting on the floor. I have a boxer that is an incredibly sloppy drinker and this catches a majority of the water in her splash zone. It is real easy to clean. I just throw it in the dishwasher and it comes out looking great.

This mat has more rigid side walls than the other mats I have purchased in the past. They are all good but I like this one the best because of the more sturdy sides. Easy to clean, looks good. The dogs seem pleased!

Good find with a few notes
The design of this mat is very different than most. For starters, it has very unique dimensional proportions (it is more of a square than a rectangle). This makes it not ideal for setting up in hallways as it sticks out from the wall pretty far. The larger size however is great for open spaces and provides a huge drip area for our dogâs water and food bowl. The second thing you notice about the design is the fact that the edges donât sit directly on the floor. Instead, there is a support every 2 inches or so. This design seems to reduce the structural stability of the edges a bit as they collapse slightly if your dog steps directly on them, but not enough to make water spill out. The bigger concern with these supports is the fact that the edges leave a gap for all kind of dust and dirt to get underneath the edge of the mat, which is definitely not ideal. Out of fear, we tend to vacuum underneath somewhat regularly. We got the wheat color which in person is a little more of a mustard shade than a crème like the picture shows. In hindsight, we probably would have gone with one of the other colors. Overall, the mat will serve its purpose but definitely comes with some quirks. Would we get one of these mats again? Yes. Would we get the wheat color again? No.

These mats are good quality. I ordered second size and it is great for my Lhasa Apso and cat. They are easy to clean. They are thick not flimsy as the other.Also as other people mentioned – please do not fold them as the folding causes creases that are hard to remove. Tip for all that donât like the creases: unfold them and pour on them hot (not boiling) water and leave for day or two, repeat as necessary until creases become invisible.
