The bowl works great and will get us through a cold winter
FEDex delivered to our neighbor so it took 3 weeks before we got the product but the bowl is great. Was worth the price for us because we have temps in the teens and our dog is outdoors during day (farm dog) indoors at night of course but has sturdy construction, heavy duty cord etc. I would recommend if you have a similar needn’t keep a pets water from freezing. It actually has kept his water a comfortable drinking temp.

Nice large water dish keeps water from freezing, so far, down to 7 degrees Fahrenheit. Like a lot of items on Amazon, you have a decent product delivered to your door, BUT, instructions and or information is inaccurate and or incomplete. For example, the instructions state not to fill the bowl beyond the âfillâ line – but there is none. Par for the course – but so far it keeps water from freezing and does its job just fine.

I have a bunch of animals that visit my yard (raccoons, possums, fox, etc) and in the summer I always have a container of water out for them and they drink quite a bit on hot days. I noticed that into the winter, they were still coming and looking for water, but everything was frozen. After an issue with the first order, the seller was so great and resolved everything, and the second order went perfectly. The bowl keeps the water from freezing, and you can tell the animals are SO happy. I placed it under a giant tote with a hole cut in the end turned upside down, so the bowl is covered and won’t get covered with snow. All of the animals have gotten comfortable popping into the covered area to drink. This bowl is so great, and I have been recommending it to everyone I know who has wildlife that visits their yard.
