Perfect
I have a grandson with Autism. He is home schooled. He got one of these building sets through his previous school. He and my grand daughter both loved playing with these cool little building pieces. They made some amazing things! These allow them to make very interesting and neat looking projects. The pieces are pretty small. But, they really love them and actually take good care of them. They put them away where they go!! We had to return them when he changed schools. Everybody was upset. I was so happy to find these on Amazon! It was right before Easter. So, the Easter Bunny left these in the baskets. Everybody was so happy. And AMAZED that the Easter Bunny knew all about us returning the first set. That old Bunny is pretty slick.

Puzzle pieces!
My 8 year old son loves these! I first found them in the $1 section at target, but this set gives you so many more for a better price. They also connect with our sets from target. Bright colors that offer endless ways to create!

The best toy I’ve seen in years
This is one of the greatest toys I’ve seen in a long time. These are like the way legos used to be, before every piece so specific that losing one would “ruin” your set. Plus-plus fit together snugly, but have enough give that little hands can use them. These invite exploration from children and adults in a great way. I pulled these out one evening and my stepdad said “what are these?” and I just started making things ⦠so he did, too. We spent part of the evening making up stories about the things we created. Not bad for a 70-year-old.One thing you’ll notice when you start playing is that their shape doesn’t allow for building things with symmetry like you might expect. You have to learn new patterns with these, and that’s a good thing. It’s like solving a puzzle to make what you want, and it’s a joy to discover what’s possible.

My son like these and wants all colors
My son likes building and making things out of these. He wants the pastels and the neon colors too. My son has autism and he likes building and making things to calm down. These are fun to create Minecraft people, hearts, he has enjoyed playing with these. The color is like the box says.

FUN FOR ALL AGES
These are hands down one of my favorite children’s toys. As an elementary teacher, I have purchased several sets of these, and they are always the most popular free choice among my students. We recently gifted a set to a 6 year-old in our family and he absolutely loved these too. He was using them nonstop for the entire week that we visited and was fascinated by all of the different ways these little guys can be connected and turned into 3-D masterpieces. While 600 pieces may sound like a lot, it is definitely does not look like a very impressive amount for the price, but it is still enough to get started and have hours of building fun. While they may not be the most affordable, this is the best price that I found for this product and it is a hit with the kids every time, so I call that a win!

Voted best toy for creativity for both boys and girls, but surprisingly small
After reading an article that these were a top rated toy for open ended play for both girls and boys, I quickly ordered a set at what seemed like a great price for 500 pieces! It turns out that each individual piece is VERY SMALL, so that 500 pieces arrived in a box about the size that would hold a coffee cup.All the pieces are the same shape, like 2 plus signs together ++. (hence the company name PlusPlus?!) so they fit together in many ways, but they will be hard for my preschool age children to create anything that is satisfying to them. Unfortunately, if you have children OLDER than 6-7, they are probably looking for something with more variety and moving parts. So there is a very limited time where these would be popular, imho.

Bought for my grandson. He has lots of lego but enjoys building and dismantling things. He has made many different items and it is providing him with hours of entertainment. Money well spent.
