Great for weekends away, late nights, or if your cat likes to eat at 3am!
I really like this thing! I had a long enough return window to test it out. I don’t want this to be too long, so I will try and put just the important tips here.1. When you create a meal schedule, NAME each dish; ie breakfast, lunch, dinner etc. This will help you if you want to reopen a dish later.2. You CAN in fact re-open a dish that has closed, as long as the feeding plan for the day has not ended. DO NOT use the Feed Now feature to reopen a dish, use the Edit Meal Schedule feature. Carefully choose the dish you want to reopen, if you named them it’s easy to tell which dish you are looking at. IF YOU ONLY HAVE ONE MEAL A DAY SCHEDULED, you CANNOT reopen the dish!! Once a set Meal Schedule has completed, you cannot edit it and you will mess up the next schedule if you just click Feed Now. Feed Now is for when you are not using a pre-set Meal Schedule.3. I pre-chilled my catfood in the fridge when we left for 3 days. You could even experiment with freezing the 3rd day; I haven’t tested how long it takes to thaw in the feeder.4. There is battery back up, and the app tells you if the power goes out.I also purchased a PetLibro dry food dispenser, which I like even more than the wet feeder.I have a Reolink camera set up so I can see the feeders and know that the food is being dispensed. The app also tells you when the cat came to the feeder and for how long, but I wanted to SEE her.Get your cat used to the feeder weeks in advance of a trip. Cats are fussy about their food dishes!I am considering using this feeder full time. It’s so convenient to clean and fill the dish the night before, and set it and forget it for the next day. If you’ve got one of those cats that wakes you up at 3am to eat, here’s your solution lol.I LOVE that because the food tray is cool and covered, it’s super easy to wash. The leftover food doesn’t dry up and glue itself to the bowl like spackle. The food tray being plastic is also not an issue imo. If you have bacteria growing on your cat dish, you need to learn how to clean.I do not get people saying it’s too tall. Maybe for very small kittens? My cat is on the smaller size and she can reach just fine.If your cat likes it’s food room temp or warmed up, this is not for you. It stops chilling 30 minutes before the scheduled meal time. Depending on your home temp, I don’t know how fast it warms up. If your house is really warm, I would not leave it for 3 days. It might get too warm for food safety by day 3.Room for improvement?? Yes. I would like it to stay open longer. I would like more than 3 meal options. I would like all 3 meal cups to be cooled, not just the back 2, along with the option to tell the machine how far before feeding to stop cooling each dish.Does it do what it says it will do? Sure does! I’m happy with it and I look forward to future upgrades.

Holy cow..it works! Chilled food for 3 meals!
I was skeptical. This is a new product… different than the packs of ice-style alternatives…you plug it in, and it’s DONE! Fill it up – upwards of 3 meals – and you’re good to go. There are three “sections” inside the machine that a 3-section plate sits atop. The cold plate underneath chills two of the three sections. The third, is the un-chilled area so the colder food can turn, then warm-up for 30 minutes before the door opens. Voila! You can program it each day, or just adhere to a schedule. It’s completely customizable. OR, you can manually open the door via the app., then manually close it. Otherwise, you configure how long the door is open – feeding time – and even if your pet is still feeding, the sensors detect the small movement and will NOT close the door until it stops. We tested it for a few days, got him used to the “ding dong” bell and quiet click, whirr of the door opening, and now he knows those sounds mean FOOD!Dry food is easier… and a pet that won’t wolf it all down in a second.. you don’t need this. We can’t dump a pile of food for our kitty and hope all works out. He’ll simply gorge himself on it, throw up, and be miserable. No dry food… just wet… 1, 3oz can per section on the plate w/a bit of water added…done. He’s a sloppy eater, so he manages to push food up and over the plate section…so…there are crumbs leftover. Big deal. VERY easy to clean. In fact, it’s cleaner than the bowl and the usual mess he makes. So far, so great! We’ve only tested it for one meal at around 3pm when we’re not around. The real test will be 2 or even 3…for the whole day – E.g. if we go to the beach, or something. We’d still have a sitter if we’re gone overnight, but even then… the sitter can’t come at certain hours, so…use this thing and they can arrive at normal times, leave, and he’ll still be fed at the proper time. For us, that’s 9am, 3pm, and 11pm.Not sure about chilling the third meal, because it’ll be over the un-chilled section of the plate below… but… again, just make that the first feeding zone. He doesn’t mind the machine…any noise – it’s whisper-quiet – or how tall it is – he’s used to eating lower to the floor. The transformer that plugs into the extension cord we set up…gets VERY warm. It’s not hot enough to burn anything, but it’s much warmer than expected. This is likely due to the energy required to run what is essentially a small refrigerator. So far, so great… and we are very thankful for the invention!

As others have stated, AVOID THIS PRODUCT.
We’ve had this Petlibro wet feeder for 3 months now and no amount of resets, power cycles, or resetup of the feeding schedule guarantees that it will feed our cat that uses it. It randomly decides to not feed our cat a meal.We have it programmed to do a 9am, 3pm, and 9pm feed. There is no rhyme or reason but the feeder will work for days or weeks, and then decide to skip one of the meals. It will simply not open and generally not have put the meal in the right place. You can generally open the app and tell it to, “Feed now,” but you’re staring at the 9:00am feed in the app (for instance) at 9:05am wondering why the heck it didn’t feed? One of the times, the feeder just started flashing its light, which required a hard reset and full resetup to get it working again.I’ve contacted support multiple times with the trouble shooting steps I’ve taken and the response is problematic for 2 reasons. 1) Everyone that responds throughout the support tickets seems to have a tenuous grasp of English at BEST. 2) They’ll state simple things like, “Would you like the feeder to feed your pet twice per day or three times per day?” I’ve been feeding my cat 3 times daily indefinitely… You know that support for this product is going nowhere and in my opinion essentially doesn’t exist. You’re starting threads that just go in circles, with trouble shooting steps you’ve done multiple times already. As others have stated, their main smart dry feeder works well and we have 3 of those that are virtually issue free. Avoid this wet feeder until one with significantly better programming/firmware exists.
