Perfect for a dog in a splint
I always read reviews then decide whether it’s right for me or not. I know that some people were not happy with this product because it either didn’t fit right or was too loose. I noticed a majority said it was too big and kept sliding down on their dogs leg. I get it, all dogs are different sizes just like we are. So, taking all this into consideration, I knew it would be perfect for my dogs needs and situation. I have a Mini Aussie that’s a little on the larger size of the mini breed. He broke his leg and has been in a splint for 15 weeks, we have 2 weeks left. It’s very important to keep the gauze dry and with Winter weather coming in I needed something quick. So, I ordered the Large. These looked very promising having the rubber foot on them and being a little big for most, it proved to fit on his splint and up his leg perfectly. I rolled the sock down to the top of the rubber toe and gradually pulled it around his paw, then rolled the rest of the sock up. It couldn’t have worked any better! It was snug enough to stay up on it’s own and in place while he went outside and did his business. It has kept his foot dry and clean. Just keep in mind, if you have a dog that likes to go through puddles, creeks etc. it will most likely soak through and get wet eventually. I just needed something to protect his foot for a quick run in and out a few times a day and for this, it’s perfect. Very happy with the product for this particular situation.

These socks are short and the Velcro is not at the top.
I specifically got these because the ones we used to get were discontinued by another seller.It showed the Velcro at the top of The sock and the sock being long. Itâs not, the Velcro is in the middle and itâs super short.If you have issues with socks not staying on your pup itâs because the Velcro is too low. It needs to be above the ankle bone.I donât trust this seller now and will not buy anything else from them for misleading images and wasting my time.

Ok but not great
I got these for my golden retriever because I have been on the hunt for shoes that did not bother her dew claw. Many of the dog shoes have velcro that wraps right around the dew claw, and it has caused some rubbing/soreness for her in the past. I was hoping these might be the solution, but they were not the best at staying on. They were comfortable for her and fit great, just did not stay on her feet outside. I think if they were being used for inside, they would be perfect! Just not for outside, running around use!

Best for my dogâs needs thus far
My husky is 13 and a half and has had a sore on the bottom of his back foot for several weeks. We walk everyday and itâs vital for his mental health and to help combat the degenerative disc disease in his back, for which there is no cure, only to keep him moving. The exposed sore prevented him from going for walks, which he absolutely loves, as I didnât want to exacerbate the sore and get it full of nastiness from the ground. I tried a cone collar and that stressed him out too badly. I then started looking at waterproof boots, thinking he could wear one over his afflicted paw. I tried several. The first was a little too large and not tall enough to stay on his foot. I got these to try. I knew they were primarily used to reduce dogs from slipping indoors, but thought they could also be used to help protect his sore foot enough to be able to go for walks.I made sure to measure his paw, as theyâre hairy and look larger than they are. I took the product advice and went with the smaller size according to his 2â wide foot measurement to hopefully ensure a snug fit. That was the way to go.He wasnât too keen on letting me put the boot on, but I got it and thankfully have my BF to help if heâs being extra fussy about it. It stayed on for our entire walk! While the top fabric portion does soak through and down, it kept things from getting into the pads of his foot, which was my primary objective.I did leave it on him while in the house one day, thinking he could just wear it during the day for when he goes outside and we wouldnât have to take it off and put it on a bunch of times. However, he would kick his foot out even in his sleep; when I took the boot off, I found his foot to be hot and wet, and his sore gooey. Grant it he has that wound, so these might be fine to leave on a dog with clean dry paws for an extended period of time, but they do get wet and donât seem very breathable.As far as the productâs intended purpose to reduce slippage, it did work; my boyâs degenerative disc disease causes his back legs to shake, particularly the one with the gimpy paw. We have all hard floors and his back leg will shake and it slides backwards before he corrects it. With the boot on, his foot didnât slip. I do however warn about wet or icy surfaces, as the boot does not have great traction for those. For washing, I hand wash in the tub.These boots have been working well for us. If my dog can do what he loves and is happy, Iâm happy.

Absolutely Solved My Problem!
My rottie has had back leg kinda ‘drag’ issues since a puppy hood injury. Thankfully I caught it soon – and began putting on booties for those back legs. The hardest thing was getting them to stay on. It wouldn’t take much for him to jump out of them, run out of them…you get the picture. In case it matters, he has worn thru 3 pairs. My final answer (mind you I tried several styles) was to place a 10in duct tape around. Worked perfectly – but was time consuming. So, I looked for a semi replacement when I would prefer booties and knew we were only going over smooth concrete for a short walk. AM walks are 2 miles or more and would entail asphalt, concrete, rocks etc. These socks aren’t tuff enough for that – but a fabulous work around for those short pm walks. They really STAY ON! I even carry a pair in my tote bag for ‘just in case’ we decide to go a different route requiring booties. Keep in mind these are more like ‘socks’ rather than rubber boot material. But what a FIND. Currently, I don’t know how long they will last…but will continue to replace regardless.

Size chart is WRONG
These seem like nice socks but the size is way off. My dogâs paw is 1.5 inches wide so I ordered the small. You can see from the pictures they are way too big. She canât walk at all in them. Theyâre flopping all over the place. Iâm so disappointed because this is exactly what she needs to help her walk without dragging her paws.
