The Easy Walk Harness is a no-pull dog harness that helps stop pulling and teaches him better leash manners. The Easy Walk Harness has been loved and trusted by millions of pet parents and trainers since 2004 to help improve walks around the world. Since this harness rests across your dogs chest, you wont have to worry about it putting pressure on your dogs neck like when he wears a standard collar. The patented martingale loop on the front of the harness makes this harness great for dogs who pull. As your dog pulls or lunges, the specially designed loop tightens, putting gradual pressure on your dogs shoulders, allowing you to help redirect their focus. The leash attaches to the front of the harness so you can help gently guide your dog. Your dog will be cool and comfortable while wearing his harness. The Easy Walk Harness has less coverage than other harnesses making it lightweight and very breathable. The harness is also incredibly durable and ready for every walk or hike. The Easy Walk Harness is quick and easy to fit. Weve made the belly strap a different color from the rest of the harness, so youll be able to easily put on your dogs harness for your next walk together. You can purchase the Easy Walk Harness risk-free because whether the harness isnt the right size or your dog mistakes the harness for a chew toy, our Customer Care team is happy to assist you with a new size or replacement. You and your dog will soon enjoy pull-free walks together. Trust PetSafe to help keep your pet healthy, safe and happy.

This product does exactly what it is designed to do, which is very refreshing.
Bought for our one year old Anatolian Mix, that we adopted one month ago.She walked fine on her leash except for excessive pulling. She gets overly excited when seeing deer or other dogs being walked. She is fairly large for her age, weighing a slender 65lbs, so I ordered a large. It was a little too loose on her chest , so I reordered a Med/Lg and it fits perfect. The leash works really well and it eliminated 90% of her pulling ! It totally fixed the problem almost immediately. Very effective and well made product. I would certainly recomend

Effective, love it, notes about sizing…
I rarely write reviews, but wanted to share my experience to benefit other dog custodians out there. My pup is an adult golden-lab mix, 72lbs. He is very fit/athletic and has a rather slender, tall, and long build compared to the usual retriever out there. I thought he would need a large based on his breed, but based on his measurements (11″ across chest) the medium seemed best. ***Also*** the harness stretches a bit over time, so if your dog is in borderline between sizes based on measurements, I’d suggest to get a the smaller of the two. The medium is perfect for him. My dog seems MUCH more happy and comfortable in this harness than using a gentle leader/head harness or the martingale style (which I don’t like using). He simply seems much happier, easier to walk, and it feels more natural for us to walk with this harness. I am aware we all have various experiences and all dogs are different temperaments, preferences, etc. For the money, it’s worth a try. Enjoy your day and go hug your dog. 🙂

Good as a training tool, not necessarily as a solution
Let me preface this review by saying that this harness is a training tool. It is only as helpful as the handler who uses it. Guardians should understand how and why this harness works before putting it on their dogs.I do see a lot of concern from certain reviewers here about the harness chafing their beloved dogs, which most certainly is an issue with this product. In fact, when I first used this on my rat terrier/pug mix, it did chafe her underarm just a little bit. However, because I knew this was not an uncommon issue, I checked her skin for damage after ever single walk to make sure I would catch any signs early and take the appropriate measures to correct them.Just as a note, I think the chafing may occur more frequently in dogs that don’t have thick fur.If you DO find chafing with the Easy Walk, stop use immediately. Do not put it back on your dog until the wounds have healed completely. One thing that really helped was readjusting the harness, which should resemble a sideways T and not a Y. The instructions are useful, and you can use the supplemental tips and diagrams online. I ended up hooking not only the ring of the harness but also the ring of collar to the leash to a) help with the chafing and b) keep the leash off the ground (since rat terriers/pugs are pretty low to begin with, and my dog kept tripping over it). So while the basic function of the harness remains unchanged, when my dog does pull, not all of the force is applied to her underarms — it is also applied to the back of her neck through the collar.I did not have to do this because the above adjustments worked for my dog, but wrapping soft material (such as fleece or wool) around the underarm portion of the harness is suggested if it continues to chafe, and that seems to solve the problem for most dogs.It looks like this harness may not fit every single dog. Sizing is a bit awkward, and there’s not much leeway as far as adjustments go, so that’s a con. I can see why some dogs simply can’t use it due to their body shape and size. Please make sure that this training tool is a good fit for your dog (literally) before using it — otherwise, your dog may suffer from injury. As far as the product itself, it works! Granted, my dog was never a constant, persistent puller, though when she does pull (mostly when she sees rabbits), she pulls like a freight train. She responds to training okay, but since my fiance and I take turns walking her around our work schedules, it’s hard to keep the training consistent — I’m more of that “tough love” person than he is, and I can’t enforce training if he doesn’t do it either. For my dog, the Easy Walk DOES stop the pulling. But going back to the first line in my review, this harness is a training tool, and nothing more. I’ve gone back to the collar for shorter walks and potty breaks on occasion, and my dog will continue to pull. Thus, the harness does not TEACH your dog to not pull, per se, but it does encourage them not to while it is being used. If you want to teach your dog to not pull, regardless of what equipment you’re using to walk them, you need to spend the time and effort to effectively train them. With that said, the Easy Walk is a good training tool — you just can’t rely solely on this to prevent pulling. The best advice I can give is for you to find what works best for your lifestyle and your dog. Sure, there is some criticism for the Easy Walk, but criticism exists for choke/pinch collars, electric collars, regular collars, etc. Take everything people say with a grain of salt because what’s effective for their dog may not be for yours.Should you buy the Easy Walk harness? It’s up to you. It’s reasonably priced, and it worked for me. My dog walks nicely by my side whenever we go out, and I don’t feel like I’m choking her if she wants to dash after a rabbit. That doesn’t mean it’ll work for you, but you won’t know until you try it.In conclusion, don’t expect it to be an end-all-be-all solution because it’s not. Like I said, it’s a training tool. If you want to give it a go, just make sure that you fit it correctly and check for chafing. Be responsible and have realistic expectations.

    An absolute GAME CHANGER!
I’ve tried a variety of different collars and harnesses with my now 5yr old 75lb (very hyper, strong & stubborn) pitbull/ boxer mix. I wish this came into my life when he was younger because it would’ve saved me so much pain, frustration, and money. Two major advantages of this harness that really stand out:1. Anti Pull: This big guy has dragged me all over town since he was 3 months old. I tried so many different harnesses, and even resorted to a prong collar before getting this Amazon harness about a year ago. & this is the only thing that has made a dramatic difference in him pulling! Yes, he can still drag me around if he really wants to but, it isn’t constant anymore. This harness simply makes it to where he doesn’t like the feeling of doing it.2. Anti Escape: I’m sure I am not the only hyperactive dog parent out there who has experienced this but this dog can figure out a way to escape just about anything. He will roll, pull, & “buck” until he gets out – there’s no way I can get away with just having a regular collar on him. I’ve purchased other harnesses that he immediately figured out how to get out of which is why I ended up using a prong collar for him prior to this. It’s been over 6 months of having this harness and though he’s attempted, he can not get out of this one.Highly recommend!! The quality is good for the price, and it seems to be comfortable on him. I like that there’s not much to it especially during super hot months where he can easily overheat. As far as sizing goes, I think he’s in between Medium and Large. I went with the large and it’s as tight as it will go on the chest adjustment so I could have probably went with a medium for more of an adjustable fit. The strap on his back does tend to move around, and I have to pull it down sometimes. I’m not sure if this happens because of his body shape or if it’s slightly too large on him BUT it doesn’t cause enough of an issue to where he can get out of it so it’s fine with me!

Have bought many harnesses, this one is by far the best to control my pulling golden retriever.

Our guys is a bit of a puller on the leash!! We’ll be dragged across the street for a squirrel or cat!At least that was until we tried this harness :-)Absolutely great! The adjustability and fit is perfect. Our dog is a large mixed breed so we went with a large size. Probably could have made a medium work but lots of options to adjust. The harness is super easy to get in – basically around the head and clip the belly strap and you’re good to go!Awesome to stop the pulling! We can basically walk him holding him back with one finger is we wanted to :-)If you have a dog that pulls – this thing rocks!

This is the second of this brand/type of harness we have bought. Our old dog used this for years and it really helped teach him not to pull. We tried several no pull harnesses with him as he was a big puller and this one was the best, as anytime he tried to pull it would just make him spin around backwards. Other harnesses that were made to prevent pulling did not fit him well as they often pulled right off, but not this one. We bought a new harness for our new dog and it works well too, although he isn’t a big puller to start with. The photo is our old dog with his red harness. The new dog has a nice green one.

This harness works exactly as advertised. My dog used to pull when I clipped his leash to his collar, to the point where I thought he would choke himself. After using this harness, he pulls a lot less and even started following the direction I pulled the leash in. Would definitely recommend for anybody whose dog pulls a lot during walks.
