its been 6 months since I purchased this item for my nose ring and it has held up great. I’ve been wearing it non-stop including in shower/ on vacation and the color is still vibrant. I was a little weary that it will tarnish but I’m happily surprised that it is! I would def purchase another!

Almost Perfect
For the most part, I’m really pleased with my purchase. The ring has a beautiful, minimalist design that I absolutely love and the quality of the materials is excellent.The fit of the ring is just slightly snug for my liking. It was a bit tricky to get in and out at first, and I found myself struggling a bit with the opening/closing mechanism. This makes it a little inconvenient to take on and off, especially if I’m in a hurry.That said, once the ring is securely in place, it’s incredibly comfortable to wear. The smooth, polished finish doesn’t irritate my skin at all, and the size is perfect for my nose. It’s also holding up incredibly well through daily wear and tear.The design, quality, and comfort are all top-notch. If the fit and ease of use were just a bit better, it would be a full 5 stars. But it’s still an excellent purchase that I’m happy to recommend, as long as you double-check the sizing before ordering.

Disappointedâ¦.
Although I gave five stars, I had to reorder and size up. I originally ordered a 6mm because I obviously didnât realize my nose is thicker than it looks. And I didnât want to give any thing lesser than five stars due to wrong sizing on my part, it is technically my fault. The nose ring itself is a super cute and stylish. I canât wait to receive the 10mm in hopes that it fits! (Fingers crossed :1)

Expensive Mistake
I’ve had my nose pierced for several years and have changed out my nose ring several times throughout the years with no issues. I was so excited when I got this hinged nose ring. It was beautiful. The description said the metal was surgical steel and hypoallergenic…yeah right! I like the hinged style versus the traditional style hoop because it stays round and doesn’t warp into an oval as you try to pinch it closed. It was a little tricky fastening the hinge, and the crystals went too far up the hoop, so it kind of rubbed in your nose. I noticed my nose was getting tender after a few days of wearing it. I made sure to sanitize it well before I inserted it for the 1st tme, cleaned my piercing daily to alleviate the irritation and pain, and to help prevent an infection. A lot of good that did!!I had decided to remove it as it became concerningly tender. As I removed it using my makeup mirror I noticed a little bit of mostly clear puss coming out of the hole. My heart sank!! I knew it was infected!! I pushed on the piercing hole more, and more discharge came out. My nose was ever so slightly swollen near my piercing hole. I could feel a tender bump on the inside of my nose. I cleaned it well and put some Neosporin on/in my nose. The next day it had gotten worse. I ordered a piercing kit for issues like this. I was unable to get my regular nose ring back in. I had to go to the doctor’s because I couldn’t get rid of the infection on my own. My nose piercing ended up closing in the devastating process. This was a very expensive mistake! I had to pay for my Dr visit, the cleaning kit, and to get my nose pierced again. I’ll never buy nose rings from Amazon again, only directly from a piercer
