Easy to use
I have a med terrier pup who HATES the shaver. This is perfect for cutting his hair. I am very happy with this comb. I was worried about the reviews but I needed something for him. I use the side where the razor is right there lay it on the fur flat and keep combing. It takes awhile. You get small pieces at a time. He does not have a thick coat. So that may make a difference. Now on the very fine hairs on his belly I can’t get it to work at all. I think the are too fine. But it does cut what I need it too and he does not fight me and jump around. That is why I gave it 5 stars. I even bought more.

looks nice in the package. can comb my cat with it but blades do not work, maybe old, not sharp. When I try to apply pressure it just pulls the hair and my cat bit me, still though does not cut hair. Easier and cheaper to take my cat to the salon every 2 months to buzz her or more often for her butt shave. Product too cheap and too much of a hassle to return, just threw it in the garbage. Pitty for amazon, I did not expect the company to promote such crap. Usually do not write reviews, I did this time to warn future customers against this product. It simply does not work.

Didn’t work for me
I am a dog groomer and this product didn’t work too well for me. I found that it only cuts through a couple of strands of hair at a time and it seems to pull on the hair. The concept is good but it’s not a tool I’ll be using again.

This trimmer might be better for cats.
This trimmer is $7.50 and pretty flimsy plastic. I got it promptly and tried it out on my Cocker Spaniel. It is really not effective as it hardly cuts any hair. There are two more blades from china in the pack. I am going to get some good razor blades and see if that helps. It just uses regular double edge blades. I scissor groom my two Cockers and was hopeful that this would be useful….it’s not. It also pulls the hair so Sambo was not at all impressed.

I have an Australian Shepard and it works great to de- matte him! He doesn’t mind it on his hair at all!

It’s as expected. Not very heavy duty but it works. I have two shih tzus and I thought it would get mats out but it’s more for doing trims.

It works for what i need it eo do. i have a mixed breed and she has long curly hair or fur. she loves getting comb so she gets what she wants and i get rid of some of the shedding hair.

Flimsy, cheap, dull
Iâm not sure what I expected for the price, but this product is absolutely worthless. Itâs flimsy, cheap, and the blade didnât remove anything more than what a regular brushing could remove. I threw it in the garbage.
