I have a messy eater. These are perfect. The size is good too considering youâre not using a huge bowl to feed a small animal. Nice product for the kitties
Our two wonderful cats still need a little work on their “table” manners – particularly our little rescue boy. He tends to make a mess when he’s eating his can food. These little mats provide a little extra easy to clean space beneath the bowls. Rather than cleaning the floor, after they’re done these lightweight but thus far very durable round mats can be quickly and easily picked up and rinsed clean. I like that they have a series of concentric rings molded into them which helps catch/contain the food (and would be just as useful for preventing water from spreading). They’re thin enough to be flexible but, given the fact that there’s not really any stress or strain put on them, I can see them lasting for years. They come rolled up in a box (mine did, anyway) but they flatten right out and don’t “curl” at all. They did have a bit of a smell to them when I first opened the box, but with one wash it was gone, and the cats (who obviously have VERY good noses) haven’t been put off in the least – I’d been a bit worried when I used them for the first time, but they “bellied up to the bar” and chowed down right away, and have done so every day since! Very pleased w/the purchase. Good price and good quality. I did pay full price for them, so this is my honest, unbiased review.

Holds Bowls
Had a dog in a cone of shame for 2 weeks, he kept knocking the water bowl over. This kept the bowl in place and held it firmly in place. The color matches the kitchen decor perfectly which is a bonus. It also holds their food bowls in place so we don’t have traveling dogs as they eat.

Works but I wish the edge had a lip
I bought these because one of my dogs can’t eat without pushing his bowl around the entire kitchen floor.These definitely help keep him in place but eventually he pushes the bowl off this mat and starts doing his laps of the kitchen. If the edge of this thing had like 1/4″ lip on it, I think that would solve our problem.
