    Great looking replica
Bought as a gift for my wife. She loves to build models especially Korean and Japanese soft wood models and even has taken an interest in gunpla. She built this in less than a quarter of day and impressively showed me the different parts of what the construction was like. Looks amazing but isn’t very sturdy, and needs to be placed on it’s stand to have any chance of survival. Great quality for the price but you shouldn’t try to have pretend dogfights around the house.

Patience with the cardstock pays off
Experienced modeler picked up this kit to fill time between projects. Tools I found useful: hobby knife, super glue, precision files, tweezers, and a sail rigging pick to stabilize support pieces underneath the larger panels.Tip: if the piece doesn’t pop right out, cut the thin paper on the back side. I only glued pieces that would be handled when flipping over to work the opposite side….and some of the big panel supports. Surprisingly sturdy when complete.Enjoyable build, fair price for a cardstock kit. Patience pays off getting some pieces out and assembling. I have three more Star Wars kits coming. Request to 4D, how about a Futurama set?

    Good build and Display.
Quality on this model is better than expected. It has a really good display value after building. Easy to assemble and amazing detail. Larger that expected too. Perfect for any Star Wars fan.

    NOT Worth The Money!!!
This very well may be the worst model purchase I have ever made in my entire life. The first 2 pieces they tried to get you to build not fit together and broke. The tabs never came anywhere near the slots that they were supposed to fit into. No matter how much I tried to jostle move flip, it did not matter. The cheap cardboard peels and frays when you try to bring things together, which then easily falls apart. What they do not show you in the picture is all the little cardboard tabs that will stick out on the completed product… not something advertised in the picture on the box. This is far and away the worst Amazon purchase I’ve ever made. There is a potential to raise this from 1 star 22 or 3, depending upon the return process.

    Awesome model/puzzle!
I love these models or puzzles. Built almost all the ships from another company on Amazon and loved each of them (see my reviews there). When those are completed and displayed they appear as real wood models and others have said as such. This model was great as well and especially for the price. I saved a few dollars on a warehouse deal and it came intact save possibly internal packaging. As with many of these models the description says, “no glue needed.” For my ships that was the case, i cant recall if this said the same however it did come with a small bottle of glue with suggestions for use as well as possibly the need for fast drying other glue. I used a common gel super glue. Dont be afraid to use it to help secure a piece that may not be as snug. Also, dont be afraid to trim off a tab when necessary and glue a piece down. Sometimes on larger pieces and curved ones, pieces require many tabs to be inserted and this can get tricky. Trimming certain tabs wont affect the end result of looks. Also, be mindful of which side is what by looking at the pictures in the directions, which are great, and by also seeing which way a piece bends by the pre-scored/creased pieces. As for my kids. A 9 year old can do his puzzle with help. The “fidgityness” of some installation is a bit diffferent than building block models. However, with a little instruction and encouragement, my kid was proud of the model and had a sense of accomplishment with a fairly challenging task.I’m going to pick up more of these models to do and would certainly consider them great bday presents.Edit: since writing my review of the mf, i have purchased the star destroyer and x wing. Both awesome. I am attaching pictures of the subsequent models purchased to this review. What really is great is these seem like high quality wood or plastic models from any distance. Truly a great value. 13 bucks for the x wing? Crazy. Ran out of super glue and it was 7 bucks at the grocery store. Protip, get those on here too…

Minor issues with part alignment, an extra tool needed
A few of the instructions aren’t super clear on the direction the pieces go, and sometimes it is a mirror except for the size of a tab.Expect to use a razorblade to assist popping out the parts from each sheet, as you can rip/bend/mar the prices if you don’t use a tool to separate. The little tool that comes with it is the right shape, but wrong material. Cardboard tips on that wear out after a few uses so I switched to the tip of the razorblade to pop out the tab holes. The glue is actually fantastic! Use it after you are 100% sure the prices are correctly fitted. I only had to use it mid build on a couple of finicky bits that pressure wasn’t holding together.I am pleased by this. Inexpensive, hours of build time for me, and the right size for the top of bookshelves (it’s not going to damage much when a cat knocks it over).

    Fun Model To Build
My wife really enjoyed building this while she was down with Covid. It was a bit “challenging” at times, but she finished it. Now it hangs from the ceiling it my car collection room.

    Better Than Expected
I am a collector of Millennium Falcon models & at first, prior to purchase, I thought this would be too flimsy. Once I bought it and began construction I was more than pleased. The instructions are easy to read as well – mostly pictures so there’s no language issues. I went one step further though and used clear, Elmer’s glue for every part (tab & slot) and used a toothpick to spread the glue evenly. I also used a toothpick or hobby knife to punch parts out & it went together & stayed together very well! It is also an unexpectedly sturdy/ durable model – I will be hanging it beneath my 1/144 Bandai Falcon display shelf! I recommend this purchase & will be gifting it to a couple of Falcon Enthusiasts as well. Happy building!!

I have thoroughly enjoyed building these simple models that are extremely well made and close to the actual crafts from the movies.

Was ok to build. I used glue gun to keep together. One part I had on wrong was the piece that has the round platform that goes on the middle of the top and bottom of ship where the turrets go on. The top side has all the cut outs and it wasn’t clear on the instruction manual so I ended up having it flipped where the cutouts were on the bottom. Because I couldn’t backtrack a few steps to fix it I therefore glued the part in and had to glue the turrets on. Over all was fun to do.
