I have never slept on, or even tested any type of memory foam anything before! So I may be a bit biased, but I am totally satisfied with this purchase. The mattress was shipped to us a whole 4 days early (UPS Air), so thank you Amazon, PrimaSleep, and UPS for making this happen! So, I’m going to list all of the things I love about this mattress:1. It is very soft/cushiony yet wonderfully firm/supportive! It’s not too firm or too soft. As another reviewer previously mentioned, it is difficult to explain the balance, you’d only understand fully if you felt it for yourself. It really does relieve pressure in your body. It conforms to your body impressively – this prevents limbs from falling asleep, and keeps you from waking up feeling sore/stiff. My husband and I both have back problems, and this has helped us so much already!2. The mattress shipped quickly, was fairly easy to unpack (though the box was very heavy and UPS had to help us carry it to our door, we had to use a dolly the rest of the way).3. It is recommended that you wait 48-72 hours before sleeping on your mattress to allow it to rise/ventilate. In most cases this is true. In ours, not so much. Our mattress rose to 7 inches within just an hour! It then rose to 8 inches in only 2 hours! The corners took a little longer to rise, but that doesn’t affect our sleep at all! I have read that in humid climates memory foam can rise more quickly. Well we live in a sub-tropical climate, and ours decompressed rapidly! It reached 6 inches more minutes after removing it from the box.4. When we first pulled it out of the box, I was expecting to be hit in the face by the smell everyone always talks about (which I know is from off-gassing). I smelled nothing. I put my face into the mattress and sniffed aggressively, I smelled nothing and neither did my husband. After we dressed the bed and climbed in it, I smelled the faintest hint of something, but it quickly dissipated. So if you’re worried about smell, I didn’t have a problem with that and it shouldn’t be a huge problem for anyone who orders this mattress.5. The price. This price is so amazingly low/affordable, I am so grateful to be able to sleep in such a comfortable bed, a memory foam bed, for the first time in my life. Growing up I slept on a twin bed with two box springs (from 4 years old to 18), and in the last few years I have only slept on old springy mattresses. They really made this affordable and I’m so happy because everyone deserves to sleep comfortably and to rest well! If I ever get rich I will buy this product for anyone who needs one!Bottom line: this mattress IS exceptionally comfortable! In the couple of nights I have slept on it, I have not noticed any sinking (the mattress is on top of a box spring), no weird or unpleasant smells, or anything I don’t like about it. You get amazing quality for a low price. Anyone who has slept in uncomfortable beds frequently will appreciate this mattress. If you are used to really expensive memory foam mattresses, you might not be happy with this one. Then again, I’d be willing to wager that this PrimaSleep mattress is comparable in quality to the more expensive brands. I definitely recommend this mattress to anyone who needs a comfortable mattress, but doesn’t want it to cost them an arm and a leg! When I am enjoying the comfort and stability of this mattress, I also exhale deeply and feel great about how much money I saved by purchasing a PrimaSleep mattress!If you aren’t used to sleeping on a bed like this, give yourself time to adjust, it can take a while! Also, take the mattress out of the box as soon as you get it (or ASAP) because the longer it stays inside the box, the higher risk it may not decompress properly! The mattress will have an easier time rising if it is placed on a flat surface. As always, do plenty of research before making a significant purchase such a this! If you happen to read my review, I stand by the quality of this product, this is the mattress I will be sleeping on for years, and I will continue to buy from PrimaSleep in the future. Great Price – Comfortable – Medium/Soft
It was difficult to choose between all the lower-prices mattresses, but seeing so many negative reviews about cheaper-priced spring mattresses I decided to venture out and purchase this queen foam mattress.I was concerned about how comfortable it would be since some reviews say that the mattress is thin, and we donât sleep on a box spring frame but we use a simple metal frame with bars, so I was concerned about feeling the bars through the mattress.I was positively surprised at how comfortable this mattress actually was! It came delivered in a lightweight rectangular box (the top of the box was opened for some reason, but the contents were great). I thought it would take 24 hours to inflate to a decent height but after heading out for about an hour it was ready to sleep on. I didnât measure the actual inflated height to see if it matched the description, but whatever it was it was good enough.Initially climbing onto the bed, knees first, I could feel the bar rungs of the metal frame beneath the mattress, but once Iâm sitting on the bed or lying on the bed my weight distributes and Iâm totally comfortable. After spending a month or so sleeping on an air mattress this was such a huge and comfortable change for me as a pregnant woman. No more waking with a damp sweat because the plastic mattress is non-breathable, even with a sheet over the top. This reduced the pain for the pressure/weight on my side during side-sleeping and I feel so cozy and comfortable every time I lie down.If I were to make any improvements it would probably be to add thin board under my mattress so that I donât feel the metal rungs when I climb in and out of bed, but itâs such an insignificant problem that I probably wonât ever end up doing that despite my âgood intentions.âMy husbandâs only complaint about this bed as opposed to the air bed is that heâs a bit warm at night. My husband runs hot and this is definitely a bit sink-into-it cushiony. This could ultimately be more a result of the bed-bug, liquid-proof encasement over the mattress, so without it it may have more breathability and be less warm, but I am personally enjoying the mattress.I got it for just under $139, including free shipping through Amazon prime. I was searching for a while on IKEA (where I previously purchased an EXCELLENT spring mattress for under $150, but now out of stock), and I also searched Wayfair and Macyâs mattress deal but this was ultimately the best deal I found on cheap mattresses that included shipping and delivered a product that I was happy with.If youâre on a budget and looking for a cheap mattress then this is the way to go. This is my first non-spring maytress and I love it. There are suggestions for purchasing a topper to soften if, but Iâll be sleeping with a baby in the bed and this is probably the softest Iâd feel comfortable co-sleeping a baby in. In fact Iâm probably only going to have baby in the bed co-sleeper until the baby is several months old because the softness of this mattress could be risky to have a baby sleeping straight on.Great buy – if youâre debating between several – get this one!
