A Delight for My Dog and For Me
I really like the features of the chew toy. It’s great at curing boredom and relieving anxiety for my dog. He just loves his ‘Chompin Chicken’ toy! It even cleans his teeth and gums, which is a bonus. And as a large dog owner, I’m glad to find a toy that’s perfect for him. It’s one of those ‘long-chew’ treats that actually keeps him occupied for more than a few minutes. I feel safe with him having this special treat, which is a big plus!

Robust toy
We have two dogs that are tough on toys. Most toys don’t last long. The Petsafe turkey leg is wearing well after lots of chew time. We tuck other treats into the middle in addition to the Petsafe chews. This toy is so popular with the two dogs that we bought a second one and also sent one to our daughter for her dog.

Great for Aggressive Chewing
My dog destroys everything. It is a matter of how long it lasts. This lasted for quite a while. Also once she destroyed the top there are other areas that you can put treats so the toy will last longer. I had to throw the top away for safety after she destroyed it. The treats are interchangeable with other toys in this line so I continue to use the chews in the second toy as well.

Great for determined aggressive chewers
My 2 mini dachshunds and the black & tan coonhound are finally impressed with a âbusy toyâ purchase! (They can even destroy Kong toys.) 1 mini strutted off with 1 of them, hid under the dresser, played with it for over an hour and made sure the other 2 didnât go near it. The treat discs are leathery but fine; you can easily take softer more digestible jerky and twist it right in or insert it, also load the slits with kibble or a bit of Pupperoni. Itâs not for a lazy chewer. Itâs for the âgame on!â Houdini doggies. I ordered 2 but need more since itâs the only toy they fight a bit over. Finally!!!!! Next purchase Iâll send a picture. Pretty cute how they play with this.

Second one I’ve purchased.
Very good product! Had to replace the first one after my dog figured out how to unscrew the end and take off the treat. Ruined the threads so couldn’t put another treat on it. He looks forward to getting this to chew on each evening and it does seem to calm him prior to bed time.

After becoming a 1 pet household, I could tell me girl was getting bored so I purchased this. She was a rescue dog and doesn’t usually like new things. The first time I gave her this it took her a while to warm up to it and I placed the ring in a position so she could get it out fairly easily. Since then she loves it. If placed around the “bone” portion she has to really work at it to get the treat and it keeps her busy for a good length of time – she’s gotten pretty good at getting the treat out of the drumstick part. Very pleased with this purchase.
