Kitties love it!
I bought this for my indoor kitties and put an older basket in our garage for our feral kittens. We have 9 Feral kittens and their momma on our farm. My husband decided to put it on the porch where they hang out on a heated pad during the day. They all pile in it. So I had to buy another one for the indoor kitties. My dog loves it too. There is always one of the fur babies cuddled in it. This is the first bed they have used. They used to only like rope baskets.

Not my favorite
I recently ordered another cat bed and so I can’t help but compare this one to that one.The fabric on this one is kind of like sheepskin but not very soft. The cushion is two sided, one side is very nice and soft, and the other is that sheepskin like material. The cushion is lumpy. I just feel that in general this isn’t the best quality material and that bugs me.As for size, I think for use as cat bed, this would be good for any cats that snuggle together or a large cat – its very big for my normal sized cats.It’s going to serve it’s purpose though, so for that I’m grateful.

Cute and Cozy Pet Bed
I ordered this for my niece’s cat and it immediately went into it and apparently likes it from the moment she put it down. It has a fleecy lining that is soft and cozy and the cushion removes and is washable. Recommend and kitty approved!

My senior cat LOVES this bed!
This bed is very spacious for my 8lb senior cat and has plenty of room to spare if she were generous and allowed any of my other cats to lay next to her – she’s not btw. She has claimed this bed for herself and literally has only left it to eat and poop in the few days we’ve had this. She can be super finicky when it comes to finishing her meals and I’ve actually started putting her food bowl in the bed with her which she seems to prefer and results in her eating more of her dinner.The bed and the interior pillow are separate pieces which make it easier to clean and the pillow can be flipped.

Would like more padding/cushion
The bed is smaller in size. Be sure you read the measurements and then measure this out in your space before ordering to ensure it will meet your needs. Definitely for a smaller dog. When I purchase dog beds I typically order one size bigger because most dogs stretch out.There is a fair amount of cushion/padding, but not a lot. This would be sufficient for a lighter weight pet or younger pet. I would want more padding for an older pet who may have arthritis.It can be thrown in the washing machine, but not sure how the lambs wool would wash/wear over time. I’ve not tried washing yet, but this type of fabric often shows wear/tear sooner than other types of fabric.
