Nice looking and my cat enjoys it
This is my 4th K and H product and I am a big fan of their stuff. I purchased this be for my 16 year old arthritic bengal kitty. I wanted something to keep her warm while on chilly days while I am at work. I chose the small size because I wanted the sides to be close to help retain heat. Overall the bed seems to be very well made. The brown color is nice and neutral and the paw prints on the liner are a nice touch. I have not unzipped it to inspect the inside or wash liner. Will update on that at a later date. My cat really likes the bed,and I usually find her sleeping in it when I get home from work. I do not use it with the cover/awning attachment as she wont use the bed with it attached. My only complaint is the cushion is fluffed up with a lot of filing. Being my older kitty only weighs about 7 pounds, it is not enough to flattened the cushion, so she tends to slide off the edge and end up wedged between the cushion and the side walls of the bed. Since she uses the bed regularly I guess it must not be a deal breaker for her.Pros:1. Nice construction and plush materials2. Paw prints on liner are a nice touch3. Supposed to reflect body heat back to cat4. Liner is removable to washCons:1. My cat doesnt seem to like the half cover/awning attachment2. Cushion cause cat to slide off and wedge between cushion and sides of bedOverall my cat seems happy with it, so I am as well. I would purchase again or recommend it to a friend.

Beautifully made item
Lovely cat bed, sturdy, excellent materials, and pretty to look at. The nicest overall cat bed I have ever had, and I have had many. I cannot speak for the ease of cleaning it, as I have a single indoor cat, and haven’t had to wash it yet, but it doesn’t look like it will be a problem. I don’t know where it was made, but by the quality, I would say the US. Happy days fellow cat owners!

Soft and cozy
Nice bed but the hooded piece did not stay attached. Attached by zipper but zipper would not stay zipped. Took it off. High sides does keep it cozy.

Momma cat and kitten approved!
My Cat was prego and I was on the market for a nesting box/bed. I ordered this bed and a day before it arrived she gave birth to one kitty (Go figure). Since she decided to give birth behind a dresser surrounded by drapes and power cords for the TV and itâs accessories, I figured it might be safer to move her away from that particular spot. I unboxed the K&H bed and attached the hood via zipper and moved momma and kitty in!I couldnât be happier with this bed. (PERIOD)Now for some details:-Bed claims self warming and momma and kitty remain toasty, however I have provided a space heater near their nesting area to keep it warm when momma leave the bed. Kitten usually feels warm, snug and sleeps perfectly.-I originally worried as the bottom padding/built-in pillow has a gap at the seam and the kitten does roll into this spot and essentially gets âstuckâ but heâs able to work his way out of the crease. And heâs used it to his advantage and snuggles right up to this area for security and comfort.- The bed itself is the size of a âlargerâ cat bed. Lots of space for a petite cat (like my kitten momma and her baby) and would also provide as a great bed for the poppa whoâs a large fluffy tabby. However, for a larger cat and her babies this bed would be quite snug. I have added the photo for reference of space. Kitty is about 2 weeks old and starting to open his eyes.- The only real âconsâ are: The bottom pillow/padding does wear down quickly. A small kitty has managed to create a small divot. But again, he loves it and uses it to his advantage and it capable of wiggling to other parts of the bed.- The zippered âhoodâ doesnât fold back as one would think. If you want a completely uncovered bed you would have to take it off. But I donât consider this a con, just something to add for others to know. All in all I am happy with this purchase 100%.Youâd end up paying almost double the amount in a store for this product. For this price you canât expect a kitty bed that will last 100 years lol. However, my cat loves her kitty in it and she enjoys it.Thanks for reading 🙂

Someone is ALWAYS using it
I am not a great predictor of what my cats will like…. That cool spaceship looking bed that was both attractive and offered a nice, private and comfortable spot? Nope! The litter robot that I got for my sake because after I realized that the fourth cat was really going to remain mine, I freaked about about all the litter? Despite the instructions for a slow, methodical introduction, they used it multiple times before I even got the app downloaded. I got this bed because it was part of a 25% off deal if you bought $50 worth of pet supplies–some of which I really needed. I don’t love the color so much and wasn’t at all sure about it… but as soon as I put it down, a cat jumped in. And there has basically been a cat in it ever since. They all seem to love it! And since I just looked over and saw one of my cats perched on a pedestal with her head resting on the window sill a few inches lower in a super awkward position, I am off to order a second one out of guilt. 🙂

My cat loves it
Iâve never written a review but I had to for this one. I have an outside cat, he never comes inside, and he sleeps in the garage. It never gets that cold here but it does go down to freezing sometimes. Since itâs been a colder winter I decided to get him something to keep him warmer. But the problem is any âcozyâ beds we have gotten him in the past heâs never shown any interest in. He seems to prefer cardboard and harder things. So I was worried he wouldnât like this either. For the first couple of weeks he showed no real interest, then I put a blanket inside the bed to see if that would interest him and voila! Now we canât get him out, he loves it so much. He sleeps in it every night, usually he always changed sleeping locations in the past but not anymore! It seems to keep him warm and comfortable. (I never bothered with the cover attachment because he doesnât like things covering him.) Anyway, if youâre thinking about this for your cat, go for it. Theyâll love it!

My cat sleeps in this every night. It would be nice if the hood covered more than the back 1/2 to provide one privacy. I have put a small blanket over one side so 3/4 of the top is covered.

All the cats love it. They all fought over the one bed, now each cat has her own.

Only problem was that the hood does not stay up. Would require re enforcing wire from center of the hood to the center at the back of the hood.

Well made expensive cat bed. Disappointed with difficult to apply hood.
