Nice and warm
This is a nice size for adding a little extra warmth while relaxing on those cold days.The fabric is soft and comfortable. The heating unit is well dispersed and ample.I would buy again.

Warm ‘n Fuzzy and just in time for cold weather.The misleading advertising, i.e. using the words ‘Rabbit Fur & Fleece’ – even with the word ‘FAUX’, gives the impression that, somehow, natural animal pelts are involved. PETA need not be concerned. I could assure them that there is nothing natural about this Heated Blanket Electric Throw. There is a product label sewn onto a corner that states, unambiguously, that it is 100% Polyester. (Except, of course, the multi-material wires, the PVC molded plastic plugs and controller, the dye which colors the material, and the ink used to print the label…). But everything else is polyester.Very well constructed polyester, too. The Blanket Structure descriptor shows:280GMS Faux Rabbit Fur160GMS Fine Non-Woven Fabric(The heating wire)160GMS Fine Non-Woven Fabric120GMS Arctic FleeceGMS stands for grams per square meter, the standard unit of measurement used in the textile industry. It tells you how many grams a single sheet of fabric that is one meter long and one meter wide weighs. (The textile industry uses the acronym ‘GSM’, but it is the same thing.)The two outer layers – faux fur & faux fleece – can each be grasped and pulled apart. The middle two Fine Non-Woven Fabric layers appear to be joined on both sides of the Fast Heating Wire to keep the wire pattern in place. So three distinct layers can be felt. The label says to “operate heated throw label side up”.It gets very warm very fast. The controller for the 50″x60″ Throw that I got has six heat settings and up to ten (hourly) time settings. If a two-hour setting is chosen, for example, the controller will shut off the heat after two hours.The product is ‘ETL Certified’. ETL stands for Electrical Testing Laboratories, which is proof of product compliance to North American safety standards.The product is soft and warm, but comfortable? Sort of. Any time there is a layer of wiring, there is going to be some stiffness. As an additional layer of warmth in bed, it may be best used over other blankets. As a throw, in a chair or sofa, the initial stiffness of the wiring layer is felt, but can be ignored if the movie or book is engrossing enough. In my video, the popcorn and a recently restored film noir do the trick.The User Manual is excellent. It contains a lot of safety, care and maintenance advice. There is a troubleshooting section, with numerous problem-solving tips, and if all else fails: “Please contact our customer service”. But there is no indication in the manual of how to do that. Amazon advises to search the manufacturer’s website. But there is no link, and a browser search for Auemtyn turns up nothing. It looks like any problem with this product requires a call to Amazon’s Customer Service. They can usually give satisfaction in one way or another. However, the failure to provide some sort of direct contact is disappointing, especially after being told to do so!

I think it’s overpriced. It’s 10 USD more expensive than a bigger, warmer, nicer feeling one from bedsure, and it’s 20 USD more than a similar size, warmer, nicer feeling one from bedsure.Pro:+The max temp should be comfortable for long wear, though, especially if your extremities do not tend to get very cold+Really easy to clean!+Reassuring certifications, though I didn’t check what they meanCon:-Uninspiring performance alone, but when it’s layered under a good insulator (think down blankets), it’s a lot better. Still, took a full hour at max temp to heat my freezing toes to a comfortable temp, and it was only 66F in my room ( I have bad circulation).-Not great for ppl who hope it will fix bad circulation-I HATE the lack of accountability that manufacturers have in not printing the specific temperatures on the manual/displaying the actual temperature on the remote. Really annoying. I understand that ambient temperature and layers of insulation can affect the experienced temperatures, but a tiny bit of product testing can give useful ranges for the users.-I don’t really like the hand feel. It’s kind of sparse? Doesn’t feel like a real rabbit.
