Great comb for matting!
Our groomer recommended buying this Teflon plated comb for our goldendoodle. He has soft tight curls which together make the perfect recipe for matting. The Teflon coating is supposed to make the mats comb out easier. I’ve used it and it does seem to move through the hair easier. It’s a great quality very heavy duty comb. Our groomer uses this and swears by it.

Groomer recommended to me
Works to get out stick tights and to get down to the skin without hurting my puppy. I like the 2 different spacings, but overall comb could be smaller in my case.

It’s not the same comb
The comb sent is okay. It’s not the one pictured. As a groomer looking for the amazing comb from 20 yrs ago, I thought I had lucked out and found it. The picture they use is the amazing comb from 20+ yrs ago. It is NOT the comb they send you. So I was disappointed when it arrived. What they send is and ok comb definitely not my favorite and the pins are much longer than the original comb. I don’t use it much so I won’t be able to comment on its longevity since it will spend most of it’s time in my box of “didn’t make the cut”. Back to searching for the original best comb of all times.

Not anti static
Works well as a comb but not anti static. I have a drop coat dog and really was looking forward to an anti static comb; this is not it.

Great comb for my mixed shih-tzu/poodle mixed pups
This has been a super comb for my shih-poo pups. What the company needs to had in the main title is that it is anti-static also. They mentioned this fact in the description, but it’s important enough to label in the main title. The price is super compared to the other combs of this type. The fact that it is anti-static was almost overlooked by me when searching for this type comb.. Super price, and great product.

Durability not up to par
I groom professionally and bought this comb to replace my old greyhound comb that was losing teeth. This comb had the same problem, but much faster than my old comb. The second dog I used it on, who had a single-layer coat and was minimally matted, took two teeth out of the comb. I’ve been losing teeth ever since. If you want something that is going to last, skip over this one. Tried to use it on my chow at home and I’m losing teeth in his fur, which I then have to extract. Very annoying. The anti-static feature is nice and the teflon coating helps the comb glide through fur, but this means nothing if it breaks after two uses 🙁

Favorite and Least Expensive of Three I Own!
You may ask why I own three. My first two were excellent Greyhound combs made in England that cost me $45 each. I lost the first one and bought a second one before I found the first. Then I tried this comb at a friend’s house one day and was told it was an anti-static comb. I bought this because of the price just in case my expensive ones got lost again. I’ve been using this one for almost 2 years now and it’s still in perfect condition. It worked just as well as my $45 ones plus it seemed to go through the long silky hair of my Havanese dogs even a little bit more easily! What a find! To top it off, it is made by Millers Forge, the same company that makes the soft slicker I love that I’ve used for several years.
