If you want a mattress topper, get this one!
BACK STORY: I purchased this for a futon I keep in my nursery. At first, I used one of the thicker, cotton ones and while that was comfortable for a while, eventually it just got too flat to do anything but serve as a cover. As my babies got a little older and discovered jumping on the bed, they basically ruined some of the supports and springs so it would sag or you’ll feel some of the wood frame dig into you. Needless to say, it was uncomfortable and I’d wake up in pain if I slept in it (it’s temporary furniture until the kids sleep through the night so I don’t want to get rid of it yet)Eventually, I just couldn’t take it anymore and looked online until I discovered this topper. I thought given the good reviews and competitive price to other 2 inch ones, I’d give it a try. I HAVE NO REGRETS (so far)! I slep well now and do not wake up in pain or sore anymore (I’ll update the review if that ever changes, this will eventually go on the guest bed). Honestly, I wish I got it sooner.ABOUT THE TOPPER: Personally, I do not find it to be hot and neither do my kids when they sneak in (and they do tend to get warm easily). It’s comfortable, and soft. If you prefer a firmer topper/mattress, this is probably too soft though. I don’t think I would say it’s necessarily “cooling” but, as I said before, it doesn’t make me hot either. It will retain shape for a little while (a few seconds really) and then it’ll slowly go back to normal. Opening there was no unusual or chemical smell; it just smelled like foam, but after leaving it on the bed with the ceiling fan on to vent, even that was gone within a few hours. Definitely pleased with this purchase.UPDATE: The topper has moved to the guest bedroom, and I loved it throughout my use. I have had guests sleep on it and love it as well, so much so that they bought their own (though they opted to get the 3 inch one, which they claim was an upgrade, but only if you like really soft surfaces).I did notice that, though I don’t find it to make me or my guests hot, that’s most likely due to me having it UNDER a lightly padded mattress protector (less than a half inch thick). Once the mattress protector had to go in the wash, and when it was sheet then pad, it was warm, though not so much that I couldn’t sleep or was drenched in sweat.

I have purchased four of these and they are amazing! The cooling effect and the thickness make for a very comfortable sleep, especially if you struggle with pressure points. I bought the first one 3-4 years ago and it is still very comfortable. We also use one on a higher quality air mattress for a serious upgrade and it does not disappoint.

At first glance I liked this topper. It inflated within an hour and fit my twin bed. The bed looked fine when I got the sheet and blanket in place. BUT just one night of sleeping on it was terrible. It was like sleeping in a jello mold and I was the jello. I sank down to a hard surface and all the surrounding memory foam blocked my movement. Luckily, Amazon didn’t make me try to get the topper back in the box. I rolled it up (actually a stronger friend did), tied it so it wouldn’t unfurl, and took it to Kohls to return it — unwrapped. That made the return much less difficult than I expected it to be. I bought an all foam (NOT memory foam) topper that is perfect. There’s a problem with mattress toppers. They like to slide on the bed and it’s really annoying. Here’s a tip: use Velcro (long strips of it) to fasten it to the mattress with the smooth part on the mattress and the gripper side on the topper. It works. I use industrial strength Velcro that is wide, not like the narrow Velcro. Got 15 feet of it right here on Amazon.

A little stinky out of the packaging and took some time to fluff up but was a perfect fit for our california king. I absolutely loved how coushy it felt and I didn’t feel like it got warm. Slept fabulously. My boyfriend on the other hand did not like how plush it felt. He actually slept worse than before we got this mattress topper so we sent it back.

Comfortable but HOT!
I was a little skeptical with how it looked after opening but give it some time to fluff up and air out, it’ll be fine. Bought this mattress for my camper, had to cut it down to fit my non-standard king. It’s comfortable, however we both agree it sleeps too hot and will be replacing this topper in the the spring because of that. I’m always cold, but this mattress makes me so hot I wake up sweaty and uncomfortable.

Itâs not often I give five stars but this is worth the five stars. I bought the topper for my daughter, she works so many hours and I had mentioned a memory foam topper but she didnât think she would like it. I bought this topper and put it on her bed, I asked her in the morning how she slept and she said she must have been really tired because she felt like she had slept on a cloud.

I don’t leave reviews unless I’m blown away. This serta copper “2” deserves a review. I like plush beds so I spent a lot of $ on a Stearns n foster “ultra plush” Cassatt bed.. it wasn’t amazing or as plush as I expected it to be and if that’s as good as it gets for their line I was inclined to suck it up and sleep in less than stellar expected comfort. I decided to buy this as a mattress topper to hopefully give me that plush comfort and this is exactly what I have been looking for! It’s soft and luxurious feeling. It cradles you slightly with softness but it still gives you support so your not just sinking in. When you roll over the memory foam goes back to its shape. I didn’t even need to get the extra thick topper to feel like the amazing comfort which was great:) great quality productð

I have personally purchased memory foams over the years, and this is DEFINITELY NOT A MEMORY FOAM. The foam even bounces back immediately when I move around. Itâs just a very thick and dense foam that is VERY HOT TO SLEEP ON. Itâs so hot that even if the room is so cold, my back would be sweaty even if the rest of my body that is not touching the foam is already freezing.It also doesnât come with any form of cotton or linen cover like other mattress toppers do. They just literally sent a foam wrapped in a plastic then squeezed in a box. Had I known that they will send us a regular foam, I would have been better off buying a regular foam that is actually priced as a regular foam, instead of buying a REGULAR THICK FOAM PRICED AS A MEMORY FOAM.
