Great for guinea pigs and cats
I originally got it for my cat but he never really used it for wet food or anything so when I got guinea pigs I’ve been using it for them! It’s great for daily veggies and pellets! It’s been serving me well for quite a while.

My cat hates lick mats
My cat gobbles her food, to the extent that for years ive been using the side by side bowl and seperating it out, adding water and feeding on a schedule so she isnt constantly sick. She hates lick mats which is what most slow feeders for cats are. But this is awesome! It slowed her down and wasnt so challenging that she got frustrated. I love this bowl!

Good for wet food but not kibbleâ¦
I tried this dish with my catâs kibble but it didnât work because of the lack of sides. However, thatâs on ME and not a design flaw. It does slow down a wet food eater, which is great to prevent the regurgitation from âspeed eatingâ. Constant vomiting causes inflammation and eventually infection, which dishes like these are wonderful for averting the speed eating habit.
