This container is perfect to warm up soup…The only problem that I have is the fact that when it is time to clean after finishing the soup, is the fact that when the soup warms up, it seems to create a ring around the top part of the “cup”, that is hard to remove. This was something I was wanting to avoid, but it still happened.

It’s alive! IT”S ALIVE!!!
I received the cup quickly and I got blue, which I was pleased about. It is a cute cup and seems like a great gadget. I am eating my soup out of it as I type this. It was large enough to fit all of my soup and I felt it would be safer to use at work, than a regular bowl, when walking back to my desk from the break room. The problem is, this cup appears to be alive! I placed it in the microwave, lid properly attached and vent open completely. I selected 3 minutes and pressed start and turned to chat with a coworker. I guess the cup was angry at me for putting it in the microwave and it started fighting with the appliance! It was so loud and startling that my coworker and I both jumped! In the end, it threw itself on it’s side and some of the soup leaked out of the vent hole. What a mess! Luckily, it was only a small amount so lunch is not ruined.In other words, the vent is not sufficient to let out steam properly which causes the cup to “jump around.” I still like the cup and don’t plan to return it. I think tomorrow I will leave the lid off and cover with a paper towel instead. Then I will reattach the lid when I get ready to walk back to my desk.

I’ve bought several of these to use at work and home. They are long lasting and versatile, and easily to clean. I put mine through the dishwasher without issue. Lots of colours too.I mostly use them for microwaving food but they double up great for storing leftovers in the fridge. I’ve had 2 of them for at least a couple of years and the seals and vents still work great. I wouldn’t be without them. I only bought more recently because my mother-in-law kept pinching them from my cupboard as she likes them too!I’ve never used them to transport food to work, e.g. put soup in them in a morning to heat up at work, so cannot comment on whether they leak or not in that environment.
