Loved and actually used by our cats
This is definitely one of the best cat scratchers I have ever bought. This grey one is actually my second. The first is very well used as you can see in the pic. I use them right beside my sofa and chair as a side table and it wonderfully prevents my 3 cats from scratching on the furniture. It’s sturdy and super easy and quick assembled. Can highly recommend!

While she still claws at carpet occasionally, I actually see her use this one! I realized she likes the jute rope on her cat tree, but will never use the cardboard or straw scratchers. So I searched all over for something like this and it’s great with it’s 3 different types of jute. She even plays with the hanging items once in a while. She doesn’t sit on top, but she could, it’s large enough for her 11lbs. It looks nice in the condo and is light, but sturdy. It took and entire minute to assemble. I am very impressed and would buy again and highly recommend. Just be sure to put this in a central area. When I first put it in a cornet behind the couch, she didn’t use it as much, but by the table she passes all the time and is in our line of sight, she does; though I do move it when we have guests for dinner.

Loved enough to order 2, but customer service is non existent
I ordered the first one of these posts in early April and a second one a few weeks later. I loved the quality and how solid they felt. The cats love them and they are fantastic for the price. I would love to give it five stars, but cannot do so. As you can see by the photos, the sissel is unraveling after several months on the bi-colored post. I went to the website of Petmaker to at least try to find out the type and size of sissel so that I can repair it myself, but received no response. I made sure that I had filled out the warranty and sent another email with a warranty request, but after weeks I still have not received a response. It is surprising that a product that feels so sturdy would have so little after-purchase assistance. Feel free to purchase this item, but be warned that the posts may not last as long as you hope.

My cats started to “play” with the mouse and ball when I stated to put it together. It was easy to put together and my cats are all ready in love with it. It is sturdy but I fear the mouse will not last long with how aggressive my cats have gone after it.

Small Cat tree
I needed to replace my old cat tree that was used in front of the window. This one is perfect. It is sturdy and fits right under the window so the cats can sit and look out the window. A bonus they actually like the toys hanging from the tree. I have about 11 year old cats and they donât play that much anymore.

Lulu attentively watched the assembly and started playing with it the moment she could. Wanted one with proper carpet type corded base as it’s better for scratching and wears much better than the fluffy ones. The platform to jump for was great when Lulu was smaller – now she uses it more like she has ambitions at Aintree, but she is still very keen on it.
