Found a great fix for areas without suction surface.
I really loved these type of bowls and got several for the stray cats that feed. They worked the discourage overeating and easy to clean. However, these cats are smart and had figured out how the flip the bowls and get at the food anyway. And since the feeding area is outside with no smooth surface for the suction on bottom of bowls to take hold, I had to think of this quick fix, simply place bowls on a piece of plastic, vinyl, linoleum or in my case, a spare storage tub lid and I made sure it was big enough to make flipping a challenge and it worked perfectly. Hoping this helps anyone in a similar situation and they can also get these great pet bowls.

Good food bowl for cats
We got one of these for our cat and it works great. Since it’s made of a silicone-type material, it’s not exactly the most sturdy, but it’s sturdy enough. Make sure to have a good grip on it when moving it around, especially if it’s full of food.
