They are bit thick so I would not necessarily use them as blankets, but I have used them as mats instead, and my dog loves them. I put one on his regular bed, and yes, it keeps him warm.

This product does not produce any heat at all. U can do the same thing with a towel or pad. The only heat is from the body which isn’t any different than any other pad or towel.

The two pack of self warming cat beds has a cute design, but I doubt they are really self-warming. The material is extremely thin; more like a tiny blanket than a bed. Disappointing.
