Fantastic Harness!
Got this to replace one my dog chewed through. This one fits well and is very heavy duty. Not easily chewed or pulled off. She must think it’s comfortable because she doesnt try to pull it off or chew through it. Has nice straps with plastic fasteners, can easily adjust it to be tighter or looser. Has a nice handle on the back in case she is off leash and I have to grab her or hold her back. Also makes it easy to lift her into the car. Its padded and rugged nice bright colors (ours is pink) and it even has bright thin reflective through out for night time walking….All around a fantastic choice!!

Sturdy but somewhat difficult to adjust
This harness is made with sturdy material, canvas straps, and plastic clasps/adjustment clips. I like the locking function on the front clasp and that the harness is adjustable to fit the size range as specified. However, it does take a good amount of effort to adjust the straps for a custom fit for safety/comfort purposes and takes a few tries to get comfortable with putting on the harness correctly. That said, my dog seemed to be comfortable in the harness and didnât mind wearing it one bit.

This harness ROCKS!
When this dog harness came in the mail I thought the package seemed insubstantial for a good harness. I was so wrong. This is the absolute best harness I have ever used. (The harness my dog was previously using was thick and slid around when I had the leash hooked on the top ring. It also had a ridiculous longitudinal handle which made my dog look like a suitcase! I had to cut it off so he could maintain his dignity). This harness is SO different!I have used this harness for two months now. I hike and walk with my dog several times a week around the block, in town, and on challenging mountain trails.What I like:-Three attachment points with very sturdy buckles. There is no step-into or over-the-head with this harness. It has three belts. The first goes around your dogâs neck and buckles easily. The other two are a chest pass thru so straps are simply raised to buckle. To take the harness off you just have to unbuckle the three buckles and lift it off.-The neck buckle has a sliding lock. While I donât use it, someone with a rowdier dog might.-The padding is just right in the right places. Padding on the chest and underbelly are comfortable but not bulky. It fits snugly with stretchable fabric on the underside that keeps it from being too confining.-Straps have perfect placement. No chafing under the dogâs front legs. No chafing anywhere that I have found.-The handle is placed toward the back of the harness and is low profile but easy to grab. When my dog is off-leash I can easily secure him without trying to find the handle. The handle is also low enough not to snag on limbs when he hikes with me.-This harness pops! The colors are bright but not gaudy. The material is highly reflective which is important to me. During hunting season when we hike I feel comfortable that he is easily seen because of its brightness.-There are two attachment points for the leash. While I primarily use the top one I occasionally use the lower one when in town and I want to control my dog a bit more. The metal loops are very sturdy and easy to clip into.-It was really easy to adjust the straps for a snug fit. This is a problem I had with previous harnesses. There was always a gap somewhere. Since dogs come in all shapes and sizes, a harness should be very adjustable. The correct sizing makes the harness snug so there is no slipping from side to side.-It makes me happy that my dog is comfortable. Thatâs the bottom line.What I donât like:-boiled Brussels sprouts

I got the turquoise color (my favorite color) for my puppers. It is even prettier in hand than what it shows online.My dog is a 75 lb boxer and VERY strong. I needed something to help keep her safe and well held in by the harness so she couldn’t run should she feel threatened. When she feels this she tries to get away and can actually get out of her collar and run. She is VERY hard to recover at that point. She had been adopted out 3 times previous before we got her…no one seemed to have patience and love to give i guess and she’d been abused. So I have no clue what she had endured before we got her( i DO know she’s awesome now!!).What I DO know is the features on this that SUPER help with a dog like we have include the handle on the back…when another owner who may not have their dog leashed or is uncontrolled comes up to her..I can make a quick grab with that and pick her up out of harms way( for others with larger dogs this would probably just an extra way to help control their dog). I love the extra loops to attach things on( should I need to). It’s very nicely padded and fits perfectly as it is adjustable…I got the small as she was right at the very top of the small but “somebody ð” needs to lose weight and I wanted it to fit her as she got down to what she’s supposed to be. The leash is super nice ….if you think because it is being added in as a set it is going to be junk…nope this is very nice. I like the quick pull back hook on it to attach to the harness..quick and easy when you want to hop back in your car or detach. It also has reflective stitching on BOTH the harness and the leash.. and the leash has a nice cushy handle too!So all in all I am very impressed with this item and for the price,feel it is of good quality. I would NOT hesitate at all to either buy again or recommend this to family or others.I would like to add that someone said they had issues due to their arthritis. I messed up 3 of my fingers on my rt hand so they don’ t bend very easy( a tendon issue) and of course had to be on my dominate hand! This is a VERY easy harness to put on and take off. You do NOT need to undo both of the latches( snaps whatever) on the back to take off as just one allows you to slip off your dog. Also having worked 10 years with kids with various special needs,I can assure you this is not a hard harness to use.
