Very nice and sturdy
My 12-year-old Jack Russell weighs about 12 lbs. He is a rescue who was never house trained, and he will not be trained now after nearly 3 years with me. Belly bands to the rescue. I bought a bunch from the cheapie online store that also raids your financial information, and the velcro portion of almost all of them failed after a few uses, forcing me to purchase a snaps kit to add snaps to them. Hopefully these new belly bands will last longer!Size I would say runs a bit small. He fits the medium size just fine. Small would have been too tight, I think.

Finally now these come in the correct size and also seem to cover and stay in place better! No help with the .asking though, I change my furbaby more than I used to change my twins!

Fits but bulky
My chi had gained weight and began peeing in my bed at night. I assumed UTI, ordered disposable male diapers and took him to vet.First of all donât waste your money on disposable. They stayed on about 5 minutes before he just walked right out if it. So, I ordered these. As it turns out, Little Man had become obese because he was undiagnosed diabetic⦠hence peeing in bed. So had to order according to his ample girth snd yes, the XL fit accurately as described. However there is an extreme amount of bulk at his undercarriage. And as you can see, theyâre very wide. Too much everything except the fit which is perfect. I did end up putting one of the disposables inside the washable one just to take up some of the space. I also had to pull it forward on his body quite a bit because one of his back legs (knee joint) because engulfed in all the bulky folds when he sat and stayed stuck when he stood back up. So he was on 3 legs with one tucked up stuck in the folds until I pull it out (not the edges of the band because that fit perfectly. It was just the bulky folds). If he continues to have issues, all I need to do is stick it in my sewing machine and reduce the bulk but not everyone has this option. The size fits and even pulled forward on his body, his pee pee is still covered. But optimally it needs to be more narrow and reduce the bulk.It is very well made. The stitches are perfect and sturdy. The Velcro is of a higher quality and holds well as well as being sewn on very well. The fabric while cute, is still sturdy and seems liquid-proof yet still soft and I donât think it will irritate the areas where he gets his insulin shots. Iâm sure these will hold up well in the wash, you can tell itâs quality workmanship ship.

There are better quality brands out there
I ordered these because they were a less expensive option for diapering might not yet housebroken dog. He pees a lot, A LOT. These are not absorbing enough for him, and the diapers are constantly leaking. Very frustrating. Spend a little extra and get a better brand.

Definitely please measure your dog first. I got these and my dog was to big for them but they fit my sisters dogs. They were to cute to take back so i bought a larger size. Definitely recommend for training or for an older dog with bladder issues.

Great brand – double check sizing!
I bought these in an XS for my 9 lbs dog because I was going back and forth between brands, and XS is his size in most of other brands. Whoops! Heâs actually a S in pet soft diapers. I still use these when my larger ones are in the wash, and they work great!I did buy another brand, and the pet soft ones are superior.
