Love it and the built in Measuring cup!
Absolutely love this for storing our rice, which I love the fact it has the measuring cup built in and the right latch top with the rubber seal that helps to keep things fresh. My only complaint would be the measure cup pour spout can be a bit tricky to get to seal and reattach at times but not badly just sometimes youâll think itâs screwed on correct and realize it wasnât but otherwise itâs great for my OCD self to help organize and store kitchen things neatly and makes it so convenient to have the cup to measure your rice with, I always tape the package cooking directions and measurement amounts to the outside of the jug for a quick reference tool and why to keep track of expiration dates too not like rice usually lasts long enough in our house to expire though lol I do wish I got a larger one though that would store a 5lb bag vs a 2-3 lb bags since we go thru rice a lot and I typically find the 5lb bags to be a better price and value for the money. But definitely would recommend if you like to use things like this for storing pantry dry goods, which it could easily work for more than just rice even. The size and small Handel make it easy to lift snd carry also which is another plus to me as well

Ideal for rice
I bought this storage container for dried rice. Itâs a good size and holds a lot of rice. The included measuring cup also serves as a cap over the pouring spout. The spout makes dispensing rice very easy with no mess. It would probably work well for storing cereal if the cereal has small pieces like Grape Nuts, but cereals like corn flakes will likely clog in it.For rice, this is a ideal storage container.

One small issueâ¦
I am obsessed with this container. I hated wasting all my measuring cups when making rice. One cup for rice, one cup for water and just a hassle. I loved that this had a measuring cup cap. So convenient! The first few times I made rice, it just wasnât turning out right. The liquid wasnât absorbing like it was supposed to. Finally it dawned on me the it started when I got the container. I decided to test out the measuring cup accuracy. I filled the rice up to the one cup mark on the cap and then poured that into a measuring cup. The cap was significantly less than one cup when measured out in a measuring cup. No wonder I always had water left in the cooked rice. One cup is actually to the very brim of the cap. Now when I make rice I fill it totally up, and the rice cooks great. Itâs fresh and the seal of the contain is air tight. I definitely recommend this despite the measuring cap issues.

Perfect for 5lbs. Of rice.
Thick plastic container, not flimsy at all. It seals nicely. Measuring cup is a plus and seals the top really well. Just twist the measuring cup to get it off the container. I added a 5lbs. Bag of rice and there was still some room at the top as you can see from the picture. This is perfect for rice or cereal. I think itâs made in China but you canât tell by looking at it. This container is made very well.

It’s just okay for storage
Product is okay for storage, but the plastic tabs are flimsy and one of them and it doesn’t want to stay locked. I will use this until it fails. I don’t expect it to last. As others have said, the measuring cup is useless. I cup of water on their measuring cup is only 3/4 of a cup in a Pyrex or Oxo measuring cup.Next time I will pay extra for the quality Rubbermaid cereal keeper. The locks on that lid are the same as the newer storage Rubbermaid containers. Air tight and snaps securely shut. And that lid also has a pourable opening.
