Doesn’t work
This was a total waste of $16. We have used Bitter Apple spray with our other dogs and it WORKED. It’s super expensive, so we thought we would try this. Nope. Useless. It has not stopped our dog from chewing on the wooden window sills. We’ve sprayed the sill, numerous times, soaking the wood. Several applications. We’ve even made him smell the container, which he just sniffs the nozzle, looks up at us and it’s like “okay, whatever”. He doesn’t shy away from it. And he obviously doesn’t care about the taste, because he’s still chewing on the wood. Complete waste of money. I’m going back to Bitter Apple. It will be worth the money spent if it’s still as good as it was many years ago.

It works.. but has to be reapplied often.
As with people each animal finds either something hot or something bitter as repellent usually either or. My cats love bitter things.If I sprayed something bitter they tried to eat it.This worked great, i just had to try to keep it close to what i was spraying or the over spray got me. The cats stopped gnawing where it was sprayed but it rarely worked longer than three days so i had to reapply often.

Ineffective on cloth/canvas shoes
Bought this because sour apple, bitter apple products did not work. Not giving up and will try two applications with Mighty Petz. Update: This product does not work on anything to prevent chewing. Would not recommend this. Waste of money!

not bitter, not hot, just water and scent.i sprayed it directly in my mouth, tastes like Lacroix…did absolutely nothing to deter chewing.

A LIFE SAVER!!
My Husky has chewed certain things around my house and sour spray does not work. In fact, I think he likes it lol. I bought this in hopes it would turn his nose up at something spicy and thank God it did! He hates this stuff and itâs safe on furniture!!

Worst of All Worlds
It smells like citronella and makes me wheeze. Has zero deterrent effect on the puppy. The only good thing I can say about it is it appears to be non toxic as the dog licks surfaces that have been sprayed with it.

Spray bottle doesn’t work
No idea if the product works or not. The bottle sprayer does not work! With a great deal of effort I was able to get 1 or 2 drops of the product to fall on the outdoor landscaping wiring, I ended up just pouring it where I could. Wasted most of it, unable to spray it where I need to including indoors. This is expensive, took a long time to be delivered. I would suggest that a responsible retailer have an employee test one or two sprays to see if the product is useable.
