Bought these is a gift for my new College student. They have been well received and frequently used. They are light, strong, and microwave safe. I hadn’t heard of this material and did quite a bit of research. Seems very on trend. They’re working great, clean up easily, and were priced well.

As advertised, scars if cutting food with a steak knife
The plates are nice for what they are, but onr of the first meals we had steak and potatoes and when washing one could feel the new cuts in the material.Basically they feel like a fibrous plastic.They look good, are microwave safe and pretty darned unbreakable.Perfect for my trailer and the use it gets

Fits the bill!
My client likes these plates and bowls. She has vision and dexterity issues and the colors help her identify light colored food! She is 97 and really appreciates the set. Everything is good quality and washes up beautifully in the dishwasher. Great value for the assistance they provide!

Wrong Color Updated Review!!
Update:I’m a real woman and I’m gonna give you a real review!I did receive a response from the company owner the day after this review. He was very apologetic and said he wanted another chance to make me a happy customer. He did give me an immediate full refund and asked me to place my order again. I did place my order again for the Glacier set and once again I received a Blue set. I quickly realized the problem is not from the seller but from the manufacturer. The dinnerware is made and packaged in China and the box is indeed marked “Glacier” on the front but is marked “Blue” on the bottom. The actual dishes inside are very blue. They are the color of the blue plate and blue bowl in the Coral Reef set , the first plate and first bowl. Oddly, there is not even a “Blue” set offered for sale. I was again immediately refunded my full purchase price directly from the seller. So I have to correct my initial rating of customer service. Once the seller was aware of the problem he did immediately address the issue. Also of note, I did order several sets of Wheat Straw dinnerware from different vendors. Of all the sets I received the Grow Forward dishes were by far better quality. They are thicker, more rigid and sturdy and have an overall nicer look than the others. Also there is clearly more Wheat Straw product in the mixture of Wheat Straw and PP plastic and this is clearly visible. You do want to follow the recommendations and not microwave them very long, and tomato sauces or curry sauces will stain the dinnerware. These dishes would be good for toddlers/ small children because the sides of the plates curve up to help keep food items from rolling off, preventing spills. Also, no need to worry about dangerous broken glass if your child drops them . Product arrived on time but was the wrong color. The items were blue and the box was marked “Blue” . I contacted the seller immediately and have received no response now three days later. The product itself appears to be of good quality, sturdy, hard plastic with wheat straw mixed in. Please note that a research of materials. including the PP food grade plastic does state that PP is made of petroleum. The items are made in China. Unfortunately, due to the lack of customer service I have to give this company a mediocre review. I will be returning the product as it is the wrong color. I will order wheat straw dinner ware from another company that can send me the correct product!

These are great for everyday use. We bought these for our 5th wheel trailer. They will scratch if you use sharp utensils, otherwise very durable. Would buy them again.

I’m not giving it 5 stars cos it’s stained just a bit. But it has been used every single day, for a few months, so I’m not too fussed about it. Also, after the dishwashing, there’s a strong soap smell that stick to it. Not pleasant to eat from.
