Customers say
Customers find the paw hoof protectors cute and well-made. They like the quality and durability of the product. However, some customers report that the sizes run small and the boots are too small for their pets’ paws. There are mixed opinions on the velcro closure, ease of use, and zipper closure.

Super cute!
These are so freaking adorable but my doxie doesnât have enough leg for them to fit lolHighly recommend for dogs with more than stumps for legs

LOL!!!! Large fits my cat!
I ordered the large. These are so small, it’s funny. The size chart is not correct. The size chart on the product packaging is also not correct. Maybe they meant centimeters and not inches! Even an XL obviously is not going to work for my dog. Not worth sending back since I read the reviews and knew there was a chance they’d be too small. But this is absolutely ridiculous! Don’t waste your time buying these for medium or large dogs. And smaller dogs probably will fit in the large. As you can see in the photos, this size “large” fits my cat and definitely will not fit my Bernese Mountain Dog. And you can see the measurement of the “large” next to a ruler in the other photos.

Only fits small dogs
These are synthetic (not leather or shearling) slippers that donât seem to be very insulating or warm. They stay on with a Velcro closure that my dog can open. Iâd read several comments suggesting that these can fit medium sized dogs, but they really cannot. These are for small dogs only. They are not waterproof, and would need to be sprayed with something to make them repel water. They do help keep salt from the paws. Overall, they are a cute fashion statement, but not tremendously useful for cold and wet conditions.

well made, but not functional for a Havanese
These booties are well made, however not effective for my Havanese. They are difficult to get on, with the zipper closure and the dog’s hair, and they fall off in the snow even with the velcro tie wrapped around as tight as possible. I give it 4 stars because they seem sturdy, with a rubber sole, shearling trim, zipper, and velcro tie, they just did not work for me. I found myself going fishing in the snow for them, and they were difficult to find in the dark. They may work well for another type of dog, but be sure to measure correctly. I got XS for a Havanese, and I am not sure that’s the right size given the way they functioned on him. At least he got some protection during a few bitter cold days (0F anad below) while going outside, I just wish I would not have spent the money. It was later recommended to me to check out a much simpler construction bootie used by sled dogs by dogbooties.com but I have not received them yet in order to be able to compare.

Doggie Parents Beware
I’ve made many purchases from Amazon but have never written a review but I feel I really must in this case. The quality of the shoes is not good. One of the shoes started to rip after first use on my 2 years old Maltese. We’ve had a rough winter here in NYC and wanted something sturdy but l was disappointed after first use. It also seemed one of the shoes is a bit bigger than the extra small I ordered cause it keeps coming off her feet. I should have ordered a size smaller I suppose. I wish they were better quality because they’re very cute on her feet. I wish I had found an honest review to warn me. Please don’t bother spending your $$$ unless you want something that looks cute but won’t last

So far so good
Due to the ‘Arctic Blasts’ that have been hounding the country lately, I ordered these (size large) for the pooch, a Shiba Inu/German Shepherd mix (42 lbs), as she was definitely in discomfort on her daily walks in nearly subzero temps. They fit well (snug, but not tight), and zip up the back with a nice Velcro strap around the wrist/ankle. The soles are rubbered tread, though not exactly skid-proof on ice (we learned this from experience). Stitching/construction seems solid so far. They stayed on, despite rowdy galloping through icy snow, and since they weren’t bulky, the pooch took little time to adjust to them. Not sure if it’s the dog or the booties, but once she had them on for a few minutes, she walked normally, and not the typical prance and shake that usually occurs when dogs get booties put on.They DO get wet on the outside, but on our excursion, which was only 20 minutes or so, the insides stayed nice and dry. I set them on the counter under a warm light to dry for the next outing. In all, I’m pleased, very relieved that they fit, and that the dog accepted them easily.

These boots were not made for walking
The shoes are filled with cotton and they just didn’t stay on my dogs feet. Why don’t they construct shoes the way their feet are designed instead of filling them with cotton. For the few minutes that the shoes stayed on my dogs feet she walked so funny with them she looked ridiculous. I must say they are very cute though.

We tried the rest; now we own the best!
My dog is 11 lbs, and has dainty feet so we ordered X-Small.So easy to put on my dog. He had grown to hate boots due to some of the other brands we tried, but these are very easy to put on, and now he nearly steps into them on his own. He has teeny ankles, so I’ve had to tailor the velcro straps, but that’s minor. He just has beautiful, slender “danseur” legs. The boots stay on long enough for us to do our usual walk through the neighborhood, and we don’t have to worry about salt stinging his dainty toes. Great product!

Very cute and well made, too bad they were too big for my dog… No problems for returns with this seller 🙂

The are very cute and stylish little booties for my dog but unfortunately they do not stay on her feet! Waste of money!

Good quality item, however the sizing was totally off…

Very cute booties but unfortunately I wasn’t able to enjoy them on my dog as much as I wanted.. They couldn’t stay on even though I was attaching them firmly. My dog ended up stepping on the fabric part all the time until they finally got a hole after a few walks…

They were very nice but I had to return them because they were very tiny for my puppy. Perfect for a very small dog.
