Our Story
It all began in 1994, with our rescue white lab, Winston, who was diagnosed with arthritis and hip dysplasia. Several vets recommended putting him down, but this was never an option for us.
We began researching alternative medicine while working with Dr. Pedro Rivera, a renowned holistic veterinarian.
After several months, we developed a natural joint formula that gave Winston a second chance at life. Winston went on to enjoy 10 long years of playing with his brothers.
We soon found others who wanted only the best for their pets as well—and that’s when NaturVet was born.

It worked for us – just have to spray often
We found this spray does keep the dogs away but you do have to spray often, like at least once or twice a day. It has a very strong smell that repels dogs. I can’t speak for other animals.

Cap Leaked, Sprayed all over
The bottle this came in was complete junk. Never sprayed accurately, and leaked all over. Wound up with a wonderful smelling kitchen because of that too.I have no idea if it worked or not as I barely got to use it.Don’t bother with this product.

Works to keep dogs out of my garden
We have a lot of dogs in my development. Iâm a dog lover â I have one myself â but I donât want them peeing on my shrubs! My doorbell camera kept capturing video of the culprits. My HOA wouldnât allow me to put up a sign asking dog walkers to direct their pups elsewhere, so I bought this repellent. The citronella smell is definitely a deterrent â they notice it, they take a couple of sniffs, and they move on. Itâs not an ugly smell that will bother the humans. I spray this every three days or so, as well as after any significant rainfall. The first couple of times I used it, the sprayer was leaking, and I started using latex gloves so I didnât have the scent on my hands. I was able to tighten the sprayer top to prevent leakage, although it took some trial and error to get it just right. So far so good.

This stuff works, even long term!
Bottom line up front: this stuff is a miracle. I have been using it regularly with my 9 mo old husky puppy for about 6 months now and it still deters her. It only lasts about 2-3 days before it needs to be reapplied, but it works on all surfaces. A couple things to note: you will need to use more of it on fabrics than solid surfaces. It also leaves a residue on whatever you spray. My furniture is all deep espresso brown, with white spray residue. It is water soluble so it wipes off easy enough if I have company coming over, just be aware. I havenât had any trouble with it staining fabrics, but it still leaves that residue and it is a dirt magnet. I have to shampoo my carpeted stairs once a month to keep them looking decent.Longer story:My pup loves to chew everything she shouldnât and I never imagined she would (preferably anything wood, but sheâll go for aluminum or plastic as a last resort). She started with the carpeted stairs. I tried the Bitters stuff, and it worked for maybe a day before she decided it was a tolerable enough to continue shredding the stairs. I tried some other products with the bitter flavor and none work. I found this spray at Petco one day and noticed it has different active ingredients so I gave it a shot. I sprayed the carpet (and now exposed wood) and was happy to note she was deterred.Unfortunately, she found other things to chew that hadnât been sprayed, like other stairs, baseboard trim, my couch legs, rugs, and coffee table. She doesnât get to chewing when Iâm home, but for days I have to be gone for the day, I always take a few minutes to spray everything down that she might want to chew, even if she hasnât tried yet (including wall corners). It is such a relief that Iâm not coming home to piles of loose carpet anymore. I go through about a bottle per month, but its worth it.

Not effective stopping my dog from digging holes.
Not long after spraying the areas where my dog has been digging, she went right back to it. Doesn’t seem to work for my dog.

Doggy spray
This does work but it will also kill some grasses …
DreamCrusher –
Doesn’t work
Spray doesn’t work at all. I sprayed some on my planter area where my dogs keep jumping into. I also sprayed it on one of their toy balls to see how long it would work. Well, it didn’t work at all. I sprayed it, and they went immediately for the ball and started playing with it. Same with the planter. It didn’t deter them at all. This product is useless!

Bought it and didn’t work for my 2 dogs. Tried it for my neighbours and same thing. Don’t waste your money
