Fantastic product!!! I was hesitant to purchase, which product out of the dozens available? Will it work on this curly head of mine? Straighten and smooth, not leave me a puffy mess? It works!! My arm got tired, it’s not super light, but not heavy. Sounds like a blow drier, but not as loud as my actual drier. Took some practice to use, but I got the hang of it. I did have to go over a few spots at the back of my head the next day due to the humidity which I don’t have to do when I flat iron, but it was SO easy with this thing. I LOVE it. NO burnt hair smell. It’s smooth and shiny. Salon-style beautiful. I read tons of reviews before picking this one. The Revlon was back ordered… I wanted one fast which is why I chose this one (Next day delivery), I’m happy I did. I can’t say it’s the “best” one, I don’t have any comparison, but it works very well! I won’t be sending it back (I planned to if it wasn’t love at first try). I’d say go for it!Background: I’m a naturally curly girl, 2C curls, super thick and coarse (Latina) hair. Takes hours, upon hours to air dry. I gave up using a blow drier years ago when I discovered the flat iron. It’d take so long blow drying it straight with a round brush, I’d sometimes give up half way through and stick my head in the shower to curl it back up!Flat ironing has been great until my Solia gave up. Bought a highly rated GHD which flattens beautifully, but has given me a horrible amount of split ends, which has never been an issue. There’s also a constant burnt hair smell despite using heat protectant, cleaning it, and having no heat adjustments (it’s supposed to keep it at an equal “safe” temperature). So my search began for a new method to straighten my hair when I need a break from my curls … Found it !

AMAZING, perfect for it’s purpose.
This is AMAZING! I love it. It looks so elegant, and it is pretty lightweight. I wanted it specifically for traveling. I have very thin, long, almost straight, light waves hair, so I don’t have to overwork to style my hair. Usually, I just blowdry it with my fingers, and retouch details to style. So my interest was to have something that saved me from the hassle and expenses of bringing my styling round brushes and my blower while traveling, so this brush is PERFECT!!Here is the thing, everywhere people complained about the LOUD NOISE, and how loud it was, I mean, people were over criticizing this noise, PEOPLEEEE stop nip picking on this, IT IS NOT LOUD!!! I REPEAT, IT IS NOT LOUD!!!!! It is a blower, it is not a an iron, of course! it will make the “blower” noise, but compared to actual blowers, it is pretty subtle. So thank you youtube reviwers and Amazon reviewers for overdoing small details, I’m glad I ignored ya’lls reviews.Another thing, do not use it with really wet, dripping hair straight out of the shower, OBVIOUSLY the water can get into the brush and damage the product, another thing, it is not an actually blower, so don’t expect it to work to the potential of one, the blowing is less strong compared to a professional blower, so it works better with slightly damp hair. It gets really hot, but the perfect hot temperature, which I love, specially the diversity of settings “Cool, low, hot”. This brush is not for blow-drying hair, this is more of a blow-styling product. Overall, PERFECTION to it’s purpose.

Great tool for thick hair!
Love how my hair looks after using this tool. It typically takes me 45 minutes to dry my hair with a round brush and dyson. When using this tool, I get my hair to about 90% dry with my dyson and then use the the brush dryer as a finishing tool. It does get very hot so I donât use it as a way to dry my hair from the beginning. Also use a heat protectant! When doing this method it takes me 25-30 minutes to dry my hair. And is silky smooth! I will say that the brush dryer stopped working after about 16 months. However I reached out to Hot Tools (Helen of Troy) customer service (who were fantastic) and they sent me a brand new one even though I purchased from Amazon. ð

This tool is amazing!!!! I have thick 2C-3A curly hair, currently shoulder length & it took me 20 mins to get perfectly blown out hair. Full disclosure, I used a good quality leave in conditioner and dry bars prep and rally, which also helped. It was maybe 25% dry when I started. I have never been able to get my hair perfectly smooth without a flat iron. I have never had this kind of volume outside of a salon. Work in small sections and ensure they are dry before moving on and youâll be golden! I barely even needed to brush my hair the next morning, still smooth, still shiny! It does get HOT when using, you need to use the cool shot and/or turn it off when moving between sections. Other than that, this is my most favourite hair tool, EVER!

Vraiment génial! Jâai les cheveux peu fournis, fins, cassants, sans volume et raide. Ce que je constate avec ce séchoir câest que mes cheveux sont moins sollicité par la chaleur vue la rapidité du séchoir. Donc mes cheveux cassent moins. Extrêmement lisse aussi, le fer plat nâest plus nécessaire pour lisser et pour enlever le « grichou ». Je recommande vraiment.

Best purchase ever. Can finally get that salon blown out hair with out trying to fuss with a barrel brush separate from a hairdryer! Itâs take 10 min max to blow dry it all out and straight. It lifts at the root and just gives it a clean frizz free look! Highly recommend the purchase!

I purchased this product on September 7, 2020 and it stopped working after only 2 years! It almost caught on fire! There was smoke and everthing! I barely used it, once a week at the most. The product support stopped in Sept. 2022, so I guess nothing can be done? I have no idea how to reach the vendor. Very disappointed.
