The fussy kitty approves
Our kitty is very fussy – he knows what he likes and has no qualms about ignoring things he doesn’t like. We got these mats and after sprinkling a little bit of the catnip that came with it onto the mat in the living room and in the basement – he has been using them instead of the rug, door jamb or couch. They have held up well so far to his very aggressive scratching. The only thing we didn’t love about it is that the velcro is already glued onto the bottom of the mats (which may be a bonus for some people though)…and we use them on top of an existing rug, tucked under the leg of the couch because that was where he was already scratching. I would purchase these again for him.

Cat loves it, fold lines won’t come out
I was surprised my cat really took to this mat right away. He scratches it, but mostly uses it as a bed (prefers it over his soft blanket). I haven’t used the provided Velcro yet since I moved the mat around. Size is accurate, I just wish they shipped it rolled rather than folded. I followed the instructions and let it sit out for a few days and even loaded it with heavy books, but it still has creases in it after using it for weeks. If I was buying again I’d look for one that comes rolled just so it’s more pleasing to look at.

Perfect for redirecting behavior
This product has quickly become a favorite for my cats, who used to destroy my furniture. I have multiple cat scratchers around my home, from towers to ramps, but I’ve heard cats like or even need various positions to scratch and stretch. My cats loved going to town on my chairs while sitting on them, and the scratching angle this mat provided was the perfect solution. Heavy Carpet May Folds
I bought this for my Yorkie as she loves to rub her face on a scratchy carpet! The carpet has wonderful Velcro on the back edges that you can peel the tape then secure it where you want it. The issue of disappointment comes from the heavy folds it arrived in, as you can see in the photo. It would be so much better for the consumer if it was ready to lay flat! I donât know if I can get the creases out for it to lie flat or if I will need to return. I canât find anything regarding how to properly flatten the item! After several weeks the carpet did not flatten out therefore I returned it. The manufacturer or supplier should definitely use a new method thatâs not folded!

My cat LOVES IT!
LOVE IT! Better yet so does my cat! I have yet to find where I want to stick it. Out of the packing material it does have creases that need to be flattened out and a bit of a smell from the material, however not as bad as I read on other reviews. It even comes with a little packet of catnip to put on it but it was not needed. As soon as I put it down to flatten out my cat was on it! Love it.

the cats love it!
i got this for our kitties because they looove scratching and pulling at the carpet. they love it! i havenât used the velcro to secure it to anything, but i think they kind of like that they can pull it up with their claws. lots of use as a scratching surface or just a pad to lie on and hang out.

Matte kam eng zusammen gerollt anund ich fürchtete bereits das Schlimmste.Weit gefehlt, nachdem ich (mit Mühe) die Kunststoff Folie entfernt hatte kamen ausser der Matte noch doppelseitige Klebepads und ein kleiner Beutel Katzenminze zum Vorschein.Die Matte hat sich innerhalb kürzester Zeit flach entfaltet und ist durch die besondere Rückseite zumindest auf Teppich rutschfest.Von einem hier manchmal beanstandeten Chemie- oder sonstigen Geruch war überhaupt nichts zu bemerken.Werde bei Bedarf auf jeden Fall wieder bei diesem Anbieter nachsehen…
