Wow!!! So easy to assemble and very sturdy.
I was very concerned when I saw all the pieces to assemble the stairs, but it was very easy and took less than 30 minutes. The stairs are sturdy and my cat liked immediately with the addition of catnip that was enclosed. Also enclosed was a pair of gloves to use while assembling. I’m impressed!!!

Nice quality and sturdy plus the cats love them
One of my cats is older who started having problems getting off the bed taking a header off of it. I had a tote for her to use and it didn’t work she still fell. I found these stairs on Black Friday and ordered them hoping they would work out. They were very easy to assemble and I tried some of the different configurations before putting it out for the cats. As soon as I set it down my Norwegian forest cat (22lbs) immediately walked up them. All my cats love it! As you can see my bed is higher than the stairs, but they don’t move when the cats jump on it. The top landing is big enough for them. No more headers or issues.

    Perfect Size
Needed this for an aging cat that has a hard time getting on the bed. Working well, and all the cats have used it! The scratching posts are a bonus. Like the size, does not take up a lot of room.

    Good size, firm stable steps.
The cat loves these steps. The dogs won’t use them, maybe because they are open? The directions were fine AS LONG as you build TOP DOWN! Seems backwards but it works. I had a narrow area so had to hunt for narrow width and shorter length. It fits perfectly in the area I had. The height is just right for the side of my chair. The stairs are stable so the cat romps up them.

    Sturdy
I’ve tried different steps for my cat who is getting up there in age, but this is one she trusts. It’s very sturdy and well designed. It makes me happy she no longer has to struggle to jump on the bed. I think it makes her happy too

    Excellent!
Easy enough to assemble (as long as you build from the top down as suggested) with decent instructions and tools provided. It is sturdy and my cats took to it right away. Very pleased with this. I recommend it.

My older cat was hesitant at first but now uses it to get down from the bed
I bought this because my older cat seems to have some difficulty jumping on, and especially jumping off, the bed. He’s about 13 years old and he is quite overweight at 17 pounds and I think his joints just hurt with his age and weight. At first he didn’t use it. His younger and slimmer sister (at 9 pounds and 9 years old) would climb about on it to play, but the older one avoided it and I was worried he wouldn’t take to it. But after a few days he got to where he’d use it to climb down from the bed. He still prefers jumping up without the steps, but going down he always uses it. I consider that a success! One note on assembly: read the instructions! I didn’t and started throwing it together and at some point I realized it wasn’t going to work how I was doing it. I’d started building from the bottom up, as that’s how I normally build furniture, but with this design you have to build from the top down. It’s a clever design, really, but it can be tricky to assemble without instructions.Oh, and neither cat uses the sisal posts to scratch or plays with the toy ball, but that’s okay. They have other scratching poles they prefer, ones that are taller and allow them to stretch more. I think the posts on the steps are just too short for their preference.

I bought this for my cat that is getting older to help with getting up and down off the coach/bed. I was able to put it together alone in about 10 minutes. Make sure to follow the order in which to install each item. Once in place it is very sturdy and the perfect size for cats and small dogs to be able to get up and down safely.
