This works for my Extra Large Extra Loud Dog!
I was skeptical since my 150lb cane corso barks at every tiny noise he hears. We started on a low setting as suggested by a trainer and realized quickly we would have to increase it. It works! He doesnât bark anymore. He does whine to let us know if he needs something but no more annoying barking unless the doorbell rings (which is fine, I need to protect the house). This dog is so stubborn and I swear I didnât think this would work but it does! A trainer sent me the recommendation, and I highly recommend as well.

Game Changer
I love the Dogtra system. I already have the 280c but was having a hard time being fast enough to correct my dog when she bark. I saw this one. I read the comments and was a little nervous because of the number of settings for the nick. With the 280c, you have almost 200 and this one, you have 10. I started on page. It started out good but she quickly got used to it. We moved up to 1. She would bark a little but would stop. One night, she started barking nonstop but yelped and ran inside. The way this works is the more the dog barks, the more constant the nick is. Because she didn’t stop, the nick turned into a constant. Once it turned into a constant, it scared her. Now, I just put it on her off and that does the trick. She goes a few months without it on at all. Sometimes I can just put it on the table and she’ll stop. It is a great training tool. Make sure you start at the lowest level and work your way up. If keep it on each level at least for a week before you go up to the next level. Like all things, make sure you properly know where to place the collar. Also make sure you take it off each night. Make sure you are rotating it on a regular basis so the contacts are not in the same place every day. If your dog develops redness, you’ve left it on too long and/or have it up too high. If your dog yelps, it’s likely that the nick scared them versus hurt them.

It works but level one is to strong for my dog/ canât recommend
I wish I had got something not this strong. Iâve noticed him really react at level one. On a good note, Iâve been able to put it on just vibrate now and itâs really curbed his barking. Would rather have had a gentler correction though for level one. Will be looking for something different so I do not recommend this product.Level one on a 100 pound large dog should not make him yelp and jump in pain.Level one needs to be something better than a vibration but a lower correction. I would have maybe expected level 5 to be this extreme. I wouldnât even try level 5 after a level one correction. Unfortunately, the first time I tried the collar was after the return date was up.

Doesn’t last long for the price
In the beginning it worked well. However, I have had it not even six months, and it quit working. Not worth the money in my opinion. Too much money to spend on something that doesn’t last.

Very effective collar!
Put this collar on my dog for kennel training. She (1+ year old German Shepherd ) has stopped barking on Day two!~ I used setting #2 stim.

Get it
One stop solution for barking issues and it’s great for field training hunting pups to cure the whining and barking associated with it.

Great no bark collar
This works like a charm. My trainer suggested it for my dog because barking is his life. She suggested we use it for the times when barking becomes a problem, but not to overuse it because it is his way of communicating. She said that it will calm him down because barking stimulates him. She was right. This collar helped my dog become a more calm, relaxed dog. He barks at appropriate times and not to excess. The collar works great.

Good item that did not fulfill my needs.
This is a positive review for a product that produced negative results. After introducing the collar to GSD Elsa w/ stimulation level #1, Elsa went out back, barked once and went berserk, squealing and crying. That one experience made her very fearful and needy. Her manner was definitely atypical. She in fact does bark less. However, I can just show her the collar and she high tails away. I am rating this item with 5 stars, since it may be that Elsa is just too sensitive to the lowest stimulation level of the collar. The item description for Personalized Training: “Features 10 different stimulation levels so you can personalize the intensity, making this safe and effective for dogs of all breeds and temperaments” did not prove to be true for my particular circumstances.
