Last year, I wanted to see if my new cat would chase a ball, but I didnât want to buy plastic ball toys from the pet store. I was looking for a more sustainable alternative, so I purchased these instead.It turns out she really doesnât play with balls, but she does like to watch these roll around when we throw them for her.These feel (and look) like miniature versions of the felted wool dryer balls that we use instead of dryer sheets. Theyâre perfectly round, so they roll really well, and they actually do have some bounce to them if you throw them against a hard surface.Weâve had these for over a year now. None of them have broken, warped or frayed. We definitely have lost a couple of them, but thatâs to be expected with any ball of this size that can roll under the furniture, and itâs no problem since these come in a set of six.

My cat loves to chase these balls. She sometimes picks them up and carries them around. She has 12 of these balls, but I can usually find only 1 or 2 as she hides them under the furniture … lol.

Okay so these seem to be very high quality and seem like really great cat toys, however one of my cats refuses to play with them and I believe it may be the smell. They do smell like sheep still, which for a natural wool product like this, thatâs expected so I canât fault the company. One of my cats just takes a whiff and wants nothing to do with it.

My kitten loves theses and they are holding up well. They are quieter than other balls because they are wool. My only problem – and not a fault with the product – is the kitten is âstoringâ them under furniture where neither of us can reach. 🙂
