It’s OK
I have had this scratcher for about a week and my cat has already scratched a hole it in, which left debris on my floor. She does love it, but I don’t think it will last very long – it is made out of cardboard!

My cat loves it!
Even though this scratcher is lightweight, it’s really sturdy, my 11 lb. cat got on it and scratched vigorously and the scratcher didn’t move at all. It comes with a packet of catnip, which encouraged her to give it a try; as soon as she got on it she started scratching and then curled up on it. She has arthritis in her spine, so the curved shape was comfortable for her back. I’ve had it for about 5 days and I don’t see any sign of shredding or tearing through the material. I would definitely recommend it.

I wanted a low profile cat scratcher for my living room
Right out of the box, both my 2 year old male and 17 year old female cats were very interested in this cat scratcher. Both sniffed it all over and climbed onto it, and enjoyed laying on it. My 2 year old did some scratching at first, and still enjoys laying on it, but my femalehas ignored it since the first day. I tried moving it around the house, particularly next to the furniture they like to stretch and scratch on, but I’ve had no luck with it. It is a very sturdy and well made scratcher, so I think my cats just prefer an upright scratching post over the horizontal types.

Very well made scratcher and lounger combo. It’s very sturdy and has both sides usable. It’s not flimsy like a lot of those others you get from retail stores. I think it’s just a hair pricey but only a little. I think this will outlast others so it’s definitely with more than average.

Cats go crazy!
My cats love this scratcher. Even my big boy who is 15 pounds can use it. It came with catnip which of course encouraged the cats to use it and made them very goofy. Better quality than I expected they have been using it nonstop and it barely looks used. I am so thrilled with this purchase and will be buying more.
