A staple for cat owners
Cats love to and need to scratch and these are a must have for cat owners. I have them placed around the furniture we sit in most to give an alternative for scratching that isnât the furniture. Great value for the price since you get multiples and the boards can be flipped when one side is worn out. They are narrow enough that you can hide them behind the sofa if you donât like the appearance of them sitting out in the open. Good quality and easy to use.

My cats really enjoy cardboard scratchers, so keep that tidbit in mind. That said, they compulsively scratched all 3 of these the moment I laid them down. My only complaint is that they’re a bit narrower than I would have liked, but the cats don’t seem to mind. I have them spread out around the house, so there isn’t a room they can go into where they don’t have one nearby.If you have trouble with cats clawing furniture, I’d recommend having vertical scratching posts as well. The important thing is to put something they CAN scratch next to the thing you don’t want them touching anymore. If you have to, use a deterrent on the furniture (I use tape along the edges where they were going at it pre-cat tree), and then either rub or spray catnip on the scratching post. My cats were after the couch in my new house, because I hadn’t gotten them a post yet. Once I put a scratching post right next to the couch, all scratching stopped. You might have to put a bit more effort into training yours, but I promise it’s worth it! Now, if only they were so well-trained around plants…

I wish these pads were a little bit whiter for my Cat to be on for scratching. There was no smell to them. They Are sturdy for him to use. They were come a value for my money thatâs why I purchased them.

These are messy unlike the seller claims. They also will not stay put. Would recommend buying one of the sturdy ones that is heavier and stays in place. Those are also messy but the cats cannot move it around.

My cat loves scratch pads but the pieces of cardboard everywhere drives me crazy. He uses this every day and I very rarely ever have to clean up the cardboard because the case it comes in secures it! It lasts a very long time too.

Our cat goes crazy for these scratches, so we keep buying them over and over. Throw a bit of catnip on these, and your cat will go bananas for it. These seem to last quite a while, so our kitty gets a lot of use out of them. And since they’re doubled sided, they last even longer! Kitty approved.
